Hey now, I wasn't trying to tell anyone here to call or not to call! Beth is right. Each case is different and its up to you to decide if you need to call and inquire about your petition. I was just saying, Ivy wanted me to call everyday and I felt we didn't have good reason to call and I didn't want to bother them. If I call too much I have a tendency to run off at the mouth and say things I shouldn't It usually has something to do with nothing being done about the 20 million illegals in the country but yet we have such a tough time trying to get our loved ones here legally. SO my decision to not call was for my specific case.

Hey brother i didn't mean to hurt anyone.. pls i m sorry if i said anything wrong... i just said u r rite and my husband called them a lot time and they replied like they never know anything so my hubby gets mad and he don't wanna call bcoz he is afraid he might gonna get mad...

I m sorry guys i m not here to hurt anyone....

DS-230 entered into system May 5, and under reviewing now ...

Good Luck all

I just called and was told IV Checklist entered 05/05/09 case now under final review!!!!

Almost there..

so u got the same answer nearly ....

we are almost there

thanks GOD ...

lets hope for a safe joureny on the rest :)

Hey Guys! My package was received on May 4, 2009. I sent in my I-864EZ and DS-230 in the same package. How do you know its under final review? When I call it just says that they received a package. When I talk to the operator they just say they recieved it. Does the message change once its assigned to a individual?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that they received a package is something

entered into system as received is another

under review is another

and under FINAL REVIEW is another ...

for instant :

i called since 4 days ..and they said tht my I-864EZ recieved in MAIL by april 23 (look to my time line ) (tht was a friday)

then it was entered into their system on April 27 AS RECEIVED (monday first work day on the week )

and since APRIL 27 till yesterday it was UNDER REVIEW AND COMPLETE ....

and they just enered the IV package yesterday into system and went to review...

after both are complete we should go to FINAL REVIEW ..then a CASE COMPLETE ..

hope tht served ur Question .

Yes, that answers my questions. Did you guys see? Carlish from the February thread was the first one with a case complete TODAY, from the February thread. I pray that the blessing trickle over here.

hey simps!! he's not hurt. haha.. he's just telling the truth. he has a tendency to mouth off when he's mad. so... he tries not to call... we don't want our file to end up in the trash!!! :bonk:

basically, calling and not calling depends on the couple's situation. including their preference to pester or not to pester USCIS to work.

the main thing is if you feel like it is time to call then go call. if you feel like you can't handle rejection and standard replies then don't.

we're just sharing how our case went... just so that the people who don't get touched (not even a call induced one) will not lose hope.

NVC people, I need some help.

In your DS230 form... #11. Did you leave it blank?

#11 Address in the United States where you want your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) mailed, if different from address in item #10 (including the name of a person who currently lives there).

#10 Permanent address in US where you intend to live, if known. Include the name of a person who currently lives there.

-We put our TN address here.

However, on #11 we're both debating if we have to put "N/a" or "Same as no. 10" or just leave it blank.

I'd like to know what you guys did.

better would be: SAME AS ITEM # 10. write the same down for the phone number.

Remember: the question where they asked where you've lived for the last couple of years, take a black, thin felt pen and write PRESENT in the "to" line at your last address. The form has a glitch there (at least mine had in February) and wouldn't let you type in any letters, only numbers.

DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING BLANK! Those are the most reasons for RFEs at the NVC journey.

Happy to help you with any questions concerning that form, just ask...

All of you have a superspeedy journey, I'm almost done

Take care

Thank you, Paris & Chrito. I was afraid of leaving it blank because of the RFEs.

I wrote it down with a pen, I already printed the form couple of days ago.

I hope that's okay.

And yeah, I saw the address part, you can type in "Present" now.

Chrito, good luck on the interview.

first of all :

DONT leave anything blank ...

as of your Question the answer should be (SAME AS ITEM # ---------)

you dont need to use A PEN

i used my computer in the form (i downloaded the latest from the website ) and it worked just fine and didnt have any problems ..u can use computer to type PRESENT wzout any issues ....

PLEASE be advised to the date of signing (better to leave it empty and do it on the right time ) tht give a longer validity of your papers i case of any delays at any levels so its not expired .

then they worked on that glitch, good to know that they're at least doing something.. just kidding ;)

Ok, I'm off to TV wonderland, time to relax and not to think of the upcoming interview (compared to other US consulates, the interview in Frankfurt is a walk in the park, never heard of any denials or problems at the interview, so I shouldn't be worried...)

All of you have a wonderful ....(insert appropriate time here) :D

I-129 for K1 expire in 4 months since the approval notice ( i saw it my self as my friend here in my city god K1 approved and moved to consulate )

the CR-1 or IR-1 validity is ONE YEAR ...

so im not saying tht it will expire ..i said IN CASE OF ANY DELAYS at any levels ..so these few days will be a benefit ...like instead of signing it april 2 and i will be sending papers on May ..so why i dnt leave it empty and let wife put May 5 for example and send it May 7 ? ..i take tht month in my pocket ..thts wht im trying to say ...

for me it was different ..by time i collected my documents it was required by NVC ..lol

so i just date it in front of 3 days ..and signed ...so it reached NVC and only signed 5 days earlier ..lol ....

then they worked on that glitch, good to know that they're at least doing something.. just kidding ;)

okay, well.. I already printed the form with all the other details in and I just remembered to ask now.

so I just used a pen to write the other stuffs that I forgot to put in.

As for the signature date, I put in May18th, which is the date that I'm sending the documents to my husband.

I don't expect any trouble with it coz by the time I send it to him, he'll probably need to send them in already.

We're debating on using DHL or Fedex as against Regular Mail and Express Mail. I'm sending him two sets (2 copies of each docs) in two packages so just in case one gets lost, he will still have the other. Plus, he will have extra copies just in case NVC loses any.

thank you for the tips. I'll put a list here one of these days and hope that you guys can look over it before I send it to my hubby.
