where did you get this info from? is there a list?

why you ask, are you doubting me? That's rude if you are, because I was kind enough to answer :)))

I am kidding of course:)

I just had a hunch it's Abu dhabi, but I verified here:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3830.html

Here is where I found it, in the drop down menu

Glad I could help. The following link will prepare you for your DS-230 journey

Prior to that, you will need to read about AOS here :

No problem. Once you pay your AOS bill and IV bill, the NVC gives you these links. So now you're ahead of the game :) Get all this stuff ready and just print out the cover sheet once your bills are paid, and you are all set!

tngirl, yes you can ask a friend to be a joint sponsor.. read this instruction below:

A joint sponsor can be any U.S. citizen, U.S. national, orlawful permanent resident who is at least 18 years old, domiciled in the United States, or its territories or possessions, and willing to be held jointly liable with the petitioner for thesupport of the intending immigrant. A joint sponsor does nothave to be related to the petitioning sponsor or the intendingimmigrant.

Your joint sponsor needs to fill I-864 form. You can also read the I-864 instruction for more information.. Good luck
