I understand how that is Beth. I was supposed to see my boyfriend, now husband last March, but then his friend got into a car accident with my husband in the car, so the trip was postponed to May.

I really hope that they give you time off soon, but I don't agree with them making you give up your vacation because of your co-worker. Just take care, and we're here for you

Yes, I do, but I cant take off of work now. No idea of this when I booked the flight. Honestly, money is not the problem, thats the least of any of my problems, its not being able to spend a weekend with Mohand. That is what is bugging more than anything.

Beth, I'm sorry to hear that.. I know it's hard for us to be apart from our loved one. I do really hope and pray that you can spend your next weekend with your hubby in Paris, and of course for a fast approval for you and other friends here Big hugs!!

Go to Immigration Timelines, hit Igors list "firt one there"

Just click on the I-129F and change it to CR-1 and do same for processing center to CSC then hit submit, and you will have the info. you want.

Aug. 2008 Dvorce granted Thank God the Judge had a heart. I could of been in serious trouble.

Sept 2008 HURRICAN IKE, Damages house, destroyed brand new car, wiped out the garage, 4 trees down in yard, no power or water for 3 weeks. No way to live. "Cant leave house or dogs due to fear of looters in the evening"Still went to work thru all of this.

Jan. 2009 Best friend blows her brains out. Friends since we were 13 years old.

Re-married Feb. 2009,

March 2009 again with USCIS, praying for God mercy to see us thru this before Nov.So yes, mood changes all the time, always waiting for other shoe to drop. No way to live, but its how was and is.

Good Morning March filers....How is eveything now?Who got NOA2 today....???

we're not planning on calling USCIS this week since my husband is in Canada now and won't be back till maybe Saturday.

perhaps next week... for us. If the NOA2 comes in mail, the neighbor will send a text to my hubby.

anyhoo, i'm going to be busy working on my papers this week... so lots of things to do to keep me sane this week.

i miss my hubby so much, i was looking at his picture when i got up and i had this terrible ache in my heart. (

Anyway, just wondering Beth,why did you book your flight without first asking if you can take some time off?

When I was working, I'd usually ask for time off before booking flights.

Oh, and I saw the list of things you got going on since last year. Sorry you had such a hard time. Just remember... this is the last hurdle that you're going to have to be patient about. THen you'll always have Mohand beside you afterwards. As your husband says, you are strong.

Let's try to encourage each other to remain strong and calm thoughout this process. It is tough and sometimes tougher for some members than the rest. We can try to distract each other?! hahaha...

hello all. i just called today again and they said they are still doing a background check. this time instead of telling me that it would take 90 days they said 2-4 months. what is the true timeline does anyone know? cant wait to be done with this noa 1. i already have the docs for the nvc ready on my side and my wife has hers with her already. maybe we'll all start hearing good news soon. i really hope so. thanks for all the info from all who post here. THANKS!!! by the way..my status on uscis website did not change..it still shows the case is pending..so you guys need to look at your mail boxes....updates on uscis website are not always reliable....good luck in getting those NOA2 guys..this week is our week!!!
