Good morning everyone. Stomach acting up again. :(

And they'd better not background check my husband or I. We have such original names...maybe not his. But the last name isn't very common. Caad. o_o I'd never heard of the name until I met him...xD

Back grounds checks are done on BOTH the petitioner and the beneficiary. Some of the beneficiarys / males of MENA get AP after the interview. Still makes me ask, what about all the other back ground checks before interview?????

In this thread that means Courtney, No Where Man and myself , our cases may be subject to this nightmare after the interview.

And me maybe...inchallah no, but AP is my worst nightmare!

Im afraid so, but it is true for MENA. I dont think it is fair. What about all the other checks before interview? Even the high fraud countries I hardly see any AP which is basically additional back grounds checks, not the valadity of a relationship. . AP is typically Male and from a MENA country. Stinks!!! And thats all Im going to say about that one.

Truly happy!!!

Beth,

I know just look at Jackie. I mean for petes sake her husband has been in US before and OBVIOUSLY he had to pack a previous check. COME ON..... I know I can pass a background check I work for a stinking airline. GIVE ME A BREAK ALREADY.................

I understand the concern honestly I do but I do not see why we have to wait for interviews to have extra delays. Why not start the process from the day you are assigned an adjudications officer.

Sorry for my frustration, its just so hard for me to be happy about an orginized process that we PAY for. They get our tax dollars to run they get our money that we pay for our visas, and yet still they cant get someone smart enough to streamline this process or even have it make more sense.

Dont cry!!!

its ok every case is different. Some cases check is days some months. You wont know until your out of it. Just be patient and calm. Getting upset now will not help u or your spouse. Try to remain calm and just call uscis to check on your case from time to time. If all else fails get your state senaters and congress people involved.

Hey Courtney, I know Poor Jackie, its just now pure pathetic now. But still as I mentioned 100 times alone in this thread, what is all the other back grounds checks done for them with USCIS, NVC and before the interview??? All those checks, and still sometimes AP after interview??? On come on, what the heck are they doing?? UGH! I go thru back grounds checks due to my job, so Im use to it, but when is enough a enough with this process?

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
