Does anyone know if tax clearance is required for CR1 and K3 category? If so, can you please share your experience?

Tax clearance certificate for beneficiary to show at the time of interview if traveling international that you are cleared from Income tax. I remember back in 90's you have to show tax clearance certificate at consulate before they can issue visa. So, I am just wondering if its still required?

This would not be a US requirement. If you are asking about some sort of clearance from the government of India, ask them.
