Ok i check on here often but im a little confused.

We have sent off our application for I-130 and recieved a reciept notice. Is this infact our NOA1 or do they send you something seperate. If this is the case how long is it between getting the reciept notice and then getting the NOA1? :wacko:

I-130 Process

NOA2 Approval recieved in the mail - 08/09/06

I-129F Process - With new form!

NOA2 arrived in mail - 08/26/06

NVC For I-129F

Arrived at NVC and Case # assigned - 08/28/06

Case Sent to London - 08/31/06

Packet 3 arrived - 09/13/06

Packet 3 Sent - 09-14-06

Medical - 09-21-06

Recieved Police Certificate - 10-03-06 (Took 34 days)

Packet 4 arrived - 10-04-06

INTERVIEW - 10-18-06 -APPROVED!

POE - Boston - 10-25-06

AOS Process

Sent AOS - 01/09/07

NOA arrived in the mail - 01/22/07

Biometrics Appointment - 02/02/07

Recieved EAD card - 04/02/07

Applied for SSN - 04/06/07

Recieved SSN - 04/16/07

AOS Interview - 06/06/07 - APPROVED

Greencard recieved - 06/22/07

Petition to remove conditions

Sent I-751 package - 03/13/09

Notice date - 03/27/09

Biometrics appointment - 04/11/09

CRIS email saying card production ordered - 07/25/09

if the reciept notice says I-797 --- then yes that is the NOA 1. Basically, it means they have entered it into the system to be processed. I bet they cashed your check.

01/25/07 - RFE for I-824 - used and outdated form

02/14/07 - Get email stating Post Office has Address posted as Vacant from the USCIS

02/16/07 - Hubby gets WA State Drivers Licence

03/05/07 - AOS appointment April 19, 2007 Seattle

04/13/07 - Biometrics Taken for AOS

04/19/07 - AOS interview - Approved pending name check

04/23 - 05/28 - 5 additional appointments with the Seattle USCIS office - to clear up the EAD issue

05/15/07 - 90 Day EAD Arrives

06/10/07 - EAD/Green Card approval letter arrives

06/15/07 - EAD arrives

06/23/07 - 2 year conditional Green Card Arrives

Hey. I got my return receipt back on the 5th of June, they received my I-130 on the 2nd and I am still waiting on the 1st NOA. Nobody can really answer that 4 you. I have asked the same question. I guess you just wait, esp w the delays and new forms for the I-129f'z, the two centers that no longer process I-130's, whereas there used to be four, politicians that don't really care, congress, the president...... need I say more?

Sorry, I know it ain't what you wanna hear, but we are all suffering and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting.........

If somebody knows something we don't, please feel free to give us a clue.......

YES that's it. You can now mail the I-129 just make sure you are using the brand new form!

Waiver approved after 10 months. Did NOT use a lawyer
