Hi,..Guys I have this long distance courtship with American man for 8 years, but haven't met in person yet. I know it's sounds crazy but don't worry i know what our obstacles are..

umm..we really want to meet in person but seemed the possible way is that i go there. The problem if i apply for tourist visa, i cant marry him or it will be a fraud if we dare to do it. I'm a good person and citizen and i dont want to do anything againts the law and God of course. :innocent:

So, we came up with the idea to apply for fiancee visa but when i read the prosedure and requirements we should have proff of meeting in person in last 2 years .. :crying: unfortunately we haven't...

is there any suggestion for us..

I know our live is in God's control

We walk in our faith

But we will really appreciate it, if anyone could help us..

hope to hear from you soon

There is virtually no way normal, healthy individuals will convince the USCIS that you are exempt from meeting once in the last two years. You would likely get denied a tourist visa without showing strong ties to Indonesia and while the USCIS will gladly accept your non-refundable $455 visa fee, and reject your case, my suggestion is you find a way to meet. It doesn't even have to be in Indonesia. You can meet in the middle if that is better, but you must meet.

The fiancee process in long, expensive and full of requirements (such as that pesky meeting) and then there will have to be more proof of ongoing relationship and I am not sure meeting once and emailing each other until the interview in Indonesia would meet the qualifications.

Tell ur Bf abt this www.visajourney.com and read abt the K-1 procedure.

It will be really hard to covince USCIS That u two are in love for 8 yrs yet He has NEVEr once visited U.

If He really wanted meet to , He should have visited u by any means if if he had to borrow the money from the bank.

Please tell him to visit u b4 filing the K-1.

If he said he cant visit u,...

Good Luck

To echo what others have posted, you will probably not be approved without meeting.

I base this on looking at all the admin decisions over the past couple of years by the USCIS.

Admin Decision

No matter if the USC could not travel, they expected the foreign to travel to the US, or meet in a third country (like Canada or Mexico).

They do not care if you didn't meet in the "home" country, just so that you actually met in the two years of the application.

Plus, you have to have met in two years. Two years, one day doesn't count.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

Meet in person. If not in Indonesia, you can meet in 3rd country. You can meet in Singapore or Hongkong - no need to get visa for Indonesian. It is difficult for Indonesian to get visa to US but not impossible. If you got a good job & asset you left behind, you can get visa to US. Good luck!

You have to have met in person first.

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well, they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit, nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !

June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again, still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE

It sounds like you didn't apply for a tourist visa to the U.S. because you didn't want to commit fraud by entering with the intention of marrying. However, if you're filing an I-129F, then you will not be marrying on a tourist visa anyway, so there is no reason why you cannot apply for one. As others have said, if denied, your SO can visit you or you can both meet in a third country.

You really do not have any other options that will not result in a denial.
