Jen, don't feel bad about the cake. You were just unknowingly celebrating early.

I refuse to give up dessert, so I really need to get back to the gym! At this point, I consider it a donation rather than a monthly fee. I used to go regularily until my workout buddy dropped me to work out with her hubby. If only I had that luxury!

Well after my husband told me eating organic meat was no allowed cause it's not halal, I stopped eating it. So now I'm an ovo/lacto vegan...and I eat fish too...I guess I'm not really vegan then. Oh well... But one can only eat so much fish/seafood before wanting to puke. So I've been eating lots of carbs. Totally not good for the figure!!! I finally found a halal and organic farm, but it's like 5 hours away. I need to call them and see about getting a really large stock of meat and then taking a trip up there with someone. I figure I can just freeze it.

Anyway, the point I was trying to make is that I have failed at losing more weight because it's just impossible for me to do if most of my diet is carbs. So I guess the only way to do it now is to do exercise... Oh God...I hate exercise. I can starve myself no problem, but I hate any kind of physical activity (well, ALMOST any kind ) But I guess I have to suck it up too and go out there and exercise. Weather's been beautiful here too...

Does walking around for hours shopping count? Carrying a million bags, do you think that counts as weight lifting???

Oh, by the way, I finished our bedroom decor. I have a pic and will post it later.

Wonderful thing about Amsterdam...almost no competition. Most of the women are like over 6 feet tall and have very masculine features and short hair (things my husband is not attracted to). Some of them are very pretty, but they're so darn tall that I know my husband wouldn't look twice. No offence to tall ladies though! Lisa my BFF is tall and gorgeous! The men...I have seen men who are literally close to 7 feet tall...it's kinda scary up close!

Where I live now, even better! Everyone is like morbidly obese and VERY unattractive. So much so, that when my family came down here, everyone commented about how, "God, the people here are so ugly" LOOOOOOOL

So if anyone is looking to live somewhere which you don't have to worry about your husband's eyes straying, let me know, I'll hook you up!

Have you seen Albanian women? They are all size zeros before AND after children. It's sick. These women are pushing baby carriages in mini skirts, 4 inch heels, full done hair and enough make-up to make a drag queen look twice. XXL in Albania is a size 6-8.

Have stuffed Salmon in my freezer for tonight! I usually stay away from meat during lent and "cheat" a little with seafood on Fridays.

clinical manager just called me:

"do we need a doctors order for _____ patients?"

me:YES, you need orders before you even step in the home!

her: we dont have any info and dont know who the md is

me: I thought we had verbal orders

her:we do

me: so who did you get the orders from?

her: well, we just write the order and then fax it in

me: thats NOT a verbal order, thats your nurse writing on a piece of paper

her: well...

me: find the doc and get the order, so we dont get all of that money recouped during an audit. please

#######?! this is a nurse!

even if you know nothing about what im ranting about, you can see my issue with the logic here right?

Is goodburger good? I think the closest one to me is Union Square. I always wanted to try but it's a long walk for something that could be iffy.
