If i wasnt so lazy i would host and then post a pic of a brick wall

Candid,

about VSC, we just all got VERY unlucky to be at VSC in this timeframe. I was so happy when i figured out we would be at VSC because I saw they were just trucking along pushing approvals out in no time. Then a few months before we files, I saw it start to SLOW down, and now we have this nonsense.

geographics...:crying:

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Hi, my name is Roberta. I'm from Brazil and still stuck in here....hehehehe

I liked to read this posts and see some very positive messages. We are all in the same boat!!!

Sometimes I think about the situation I am in, but then I find people that don't see their apouse for months... and I have mine here with me.

He moved to Brazil when we got married, and he travels for 15 days or so every 3 months... he has to buy his Chron's medicine in the US, and see family as well...

According to our lawyer, NVC is receiving our documents this week. I know there are people here in all sort of status on your process... is there anyone that can tell me an avarage period of time that will take from now till we get the interview schedulled?

We just realize that we will have to take some drastic decisions if we don't get it till may. My husband needs a surgery, and his health insurance expires in june... that means that if untill may I don't have my visa, he will have to back to US alone and take care of his health... and I will have to stay here.... and God knows when we will see each other again........

There's too much reading to do so:

Seren,

You have been a gracious, kind thread leader and I want you to get your approval dammit!

I am trying not to focus on an approval...just thinking about it makes my blood boil....and you think I am gracious 000202ED.gif

Did your file get to Aman?

Where is Sarita?

I am around, I try and sneak in on the thread from work now and again. Sorry to hear about your expedite request.

I would love to call USCIS and Yell they are so inefficient...it's unbelieveable00020309.gif

Agreed...definitely misinformed!!! Otherwise all of us are terribly misguided, waiting to be with out significant others.

ya really, what are we all doing on VJ when we can be booking tix for our spouses!

:running off to royal jordanian website:

It's funny to hear the misinformed "rumors" about immigration to the US. Yazied shared some of the stories he has heard form guys at the cafe. WOW

yea I was getting kind of rude towards the end because I know 100% for sure he was wrong.. I am calling him now to rub it in

put him on speaker

OMG he was nasty... He is sticking by what he said. He said this guy became a citizen and then 2 weeks after his wife got here from Columbia she was going for her US passport. and their 4 kids became USC within a month also. I told him what you guys wrote. He said it isn't his fault eveybody has a crappy LAWYER (LOL) I asked him why every person is wasting their time filing if it isn't necessary... Like com eon William. There is a process and trust me.... they dont' make it easy. He hung up and was mad at me. Maybe there was some kind of Amnesty back in 2000. but I thought that was around 1996.. I know there has been a GC process since the beginning. It might have been easier to obtain one pre-911 but as far as I know and from what I have read... there is no automatic USC.... I

He's a dumb a$$! Asylum/refugees don't get passports. They get green or white things that look exactly like passports with the US stamp/logo etc. It's issued by the US. It's a travel document for refugees and those granted asylum. That's probably what he thinks is a passport...and therefore thought that they were given citizenship.

Boy is he in for a big surprise!!!

From Columbia? After he commited GC fraud? I doubt it. If he was already here and then he married a Columbian after being divorced>>> I seriously doubt it. I think William is just mad cuz he is wrong. Try and tell a LATIN man he is wrong... It doesn't wash.... I told him I still love him though...LOL He didn't think that was funny....
