hi everone.

I want to know if there were anyone who entered US with K-1visa from the third country.

Our case is this.

My fiancee is an american citizen who was born in Egypt, I am a Japanese.

We will visit his parents in Egypt before our marriage in US, so I'll fly from Japan-

Egypt-US. my fiance and I will meet in Egypt and fly together to US.

Do you think does it gonna cause any problem when I go through the US immigration

and custom since I won't fly straight from Japan?

No problem. You have a fiancee visa to enter the USA one time and adjust status within 90 days. Is does not matter from which country you enter or where your plane took off from. Your only concern, which I cannot answer is what documents you will need to enter Egypt on your way here.

thanks for the quick reply.

about entering Egypt, everone has to have a visa to enter Egypt, there's no exception.

Most people who stay in Egypt get visas when they arrive to the airport,

and it's very easy to get it, so I don't think there will be any problem to enter Egypt.

thank you for your concern:)
