Having a baby soon. Should I play it safe and get a co-sponsor for the Affidavit of Support?

The 2009 poverty guidelines say that for a household of 2 we need $17,212 - for a household of 3 we need $22,887. My fiancee makes $17,720 a year.

Right now it is my husband and I, but we are having a child in May.

I plan on sending my AOS in April. Should I get a co-sponsor just in case? or do you guys think I will be fine the way I am right now?

If the whole household of my co-sponsor is one person, then maybe it is better that I get somebody that earns more than $17,212, so the baby won't be counted for sure, and I have no problems about it... What do you guys think?

Somebody said that my AOS could get denied if my soon to be husband doesn't meet money requirements, and that they wouldn't even warn me about including the unborn baby (or born baby at that time)...

Anybody knows more about this? Please help!

you dont want to risk..it takes months after submitting your AOS application before you can get an interview schedule and its a waste of time if you application is sent back or denied because of your husband's income..not to mention waste of money (AOS application fee) you want to save money and time, so to make it sure,if you can get a co sponsor,do that...it wont hurt...
