I just wish we would get past the phase where we constantly hear the crying and sniveling

every time people fail to show LOVE to Obama and his left-wing Ideas.

If you people can't list one thing I should want Obama to Succeed at, quit yur friggin crying!

:bonk:

You don't want to see him succeed at fixing the economy?

Don't support him to fix the economy, don't support him to fix medicare, don't support him to increase jobs....That is what the Republican worries about. If he succeeds, the Democrat will gain an edge on the Republican party and make them fall behind in shame. Therefore, it is necessary not to support him on this.

 That would be the Republican mentality today.

I'm not at all worried that Obama will succeed and show up Republicans. I'm quite sure he won't. Besides, Republican politicians have little to brag about lately. I'm worried about how Barry's failed policies and the blindness of hs followers will harm the the country.

Retarted post. George left the country in great shape, didn't he? Talk about blindness, hello pot, this is the kettle.....

The expression "It's not over till the fat lady sings" ring a bell? I guess not. Giving up is easier than succeeding. When he's over like Bush, that's the time to judge.

Funny how libs didn't wait until Bush was over to judge him and his policies. Why expect conservatives to wait? It's not like Barry hasn't done anything worth judgment or won't do anything worth judgement until just before he leaves office. Those who want to sit on their hands and wait around for some ambiguous time when it's considered ok to criticise or comment are free to do so. Those who don't don't have to wait for them to give us the go. And, who says not wanting his bad policies to succeed is the same as giving up? Last time I looked, disagreement didn't preclude action or advocacy for the causes and goals you believe in. I haven't stopped being proactive, or making my voice heard where it counts.

At the minimum people had plenty to go on with Bush and his policies as they happened. Creating a monster-sized government that has become, for many of us here in VJ... quite a visible joke that has yet to end (check). Starting a war where it wasn't warranted (check). Declaring quite clearly from the beginning that any opposition to his reign was a move against the USA (check). And now we get whining against Obama's attempt to right side this mess left to him without seeing two months in office (priceless).

You see, you are absolutely right. In a logical mind, judgments on actions are made accordingly as they are carried out.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

The bolded part apparently caught on with Obamacans. This thread is about the limits of our speech re Obama's reign.

Do the so-called logical minds believe that Obama has so far taken no action or done nothing to be judged on yet? If so, what's he waiting for?

The more you say it the more true it becomes I suppose.

I believe he just got the stimulus package enacted. You might want to whine and flat out spew venom if it fails or find something else to whine about if it works.

Are you denying that we are debating the limits of free speech when it comes to criticising Obama's policies and acts? Or, as I asked before, has he done nothing so far, and that is the objection to criticism?

Like I said... feel free to whine as much as you like. Even if there isn't much to whine about.

No whining from me. But, the more you say it the more true it seems to be (in your own mind) I suppose.

Criticism of the stimulus package is allowed, btw.

By all means... criticize as much as it makes you happy to do so. Line by line, issue by issue. :D

Whine, rant, criticize, disagree, etc. Do as you will. You don't need special permission nor clearance to voice your opinion.
