Just a little humorous common sense.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Perhaps. That's politics for you. Quite the universal constant. As is the whinefest we can all witness.

There is the problem, we thought we had a choice between continueing Bush's failed economiic police, or voting for someone who proposed to change direction. Who knew what we really had was a Hobson's choise.

No sh*t. As an independent in TX I could vote in either primary. I voted in the Republican primary, but not for McSellout. He was at the very bottom of my list of candidates. It disgusted me that he got the Republican nomination. I still believe that we would have a Republican president today if Mit was the party choice. As a conservative voter it was obvious the Dims were not even in the running for my vote because they don't even try to run even a centrist candidate.

As far as change with Obama...for people with short memories it is just a return to failed policies of the past. Same old sh*t. It's a change from Bush, but...

I voted for Mitt in the primaries, too. I did realize the election was a Hobson's choice and even spoke of it as that. McCain made me choke; I voted for Palin.

Those of us with long memories have only to sit back and wait for Obamacans to realize that he's not up to the J O B. Meanwhile, we are expected to sacrifice in our own lifestyle, even as our tax dollars pay Barry to continue campaigning across the country in Air Force One, and for Michelle's social secretary's trips to haute couture fashion shows looking for original designs for her to wear to all their White House parties. Geez, even Jimmy and Roselind Carter had more class than that.

Rooting the president to fail is another way of neglecting our own ability to fix mistakes and just bring needless blame. Such hostility brings intimidation, and disregard to authority. Not only it's not helping the US as whole as far as advancement, it's just go on and burden people with negativity than anything else.

Thinking positive is a way to stop thinking about giving up. It's the way success comes about. Those Republican who have not a clue that failure bring success will always think negatively. To work together is to think of solutions to problems not bring problems to solutions. If the Republicans have better ideas, then bring it out. Sure, the stimulus may not work. But, we know that it will slow the recession giving the US more time to think through the regulation regarding mortgages, finance, etc...

Well said. Negative thinking gets you nowwhere, personally, in government or anywhere else in life. Negativity is for losers and has beens who never were.

Negativity... can that include whining?

Also... being distastefully dishonest and immature in assessing the situation at hand... what would that be?

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Live with the fact that he was the Republican nominee.:P

Like I told Danno.

Whinefest and all... it really IS too early to cry foul.

Maybe. Maybe it's just bad luck on Obama's part. It won't be the first time a commander walks into a situation that he is not responsible for, but will surely hang for. Good, or bad, he owns the economy now, and he wanted the job. Maybe he can make chicken salad out of chicken chit, but the numbers are out there, and things are going to get worse, much worse.

I am just pissed that I may have to make some decisions that I was hoping to put off for a few more years. I have not been happy about any major party nominee for President since 1992.

Try to think positive for a change. It can work wonders.

I seen it from both canidates this year. Obama moved a little more towards the center to help his election and McCain eased up on his Pro Choice stand to help his election. Often presidents give promises they cant keep in order to win elections, it not politics for me, its politics.
