You "may" be OK as USCIS used to not require evidence for the initial submissiom. They do now. Fire your lawyer as they are out of date.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

I think you're asking about sending evidence of a bona fide ongoing relationship with initial petition filing. If you sent the "required" documents like a marriage certificate and proof of any prior marriages being terminated along with G325a for each of you and passport pictures, that is almost always enough for the petition. However, you will need evidence of an ongoing genuine relationship for the interview.

Note: If you've only filed an I-130 petition, this is a CR1 case, not a K3 case. I recommend keeping it that way.
