Hi, It will be my first time to fly to states. Can you tell me what to do upon arrival (step by step pls) and what to expect. Thank you.

1st u get off the plane:)

2. R u coming here for visiting or to live?

there are two line at the custom. One for the USC/Resident and other for Vistors.

So u choose the Line. If u r immigrant, then go to USC/Resident Line.

3. Custom Officer will ask u questions/u show him Documents.

4. Get ur luggage , U r out

Ok sounds easy. Are you sure I will get my luggage last? I thoguth they will check them also by custom officer. Ive read that soetimes the wait can be longer when passing thru immigration officer. I just want it be all set when I arrived to usa so no delays especially I have only abotu 2 hour interval waiting for my next flight.

Is this correct? An immigrant goes through the USC line? I have seen questions here about whether the USC and fiancee can go through the same line so I thought the visa holder could not go through the USC line (if not traveling with the USC).

Hi, It will be my first time to fly to states. Can you tell me what to do upon arrival (step by step pls) and what to expect. Thank you.

Hi, i traveled from Philippines to Las Vegas alone and there was no problem at all. The immigration officer who interviewed me was nice. First thing u gonna do is to fall inline, in my case i was asked to fall in line in Visitor then i had a finger scanning. AFter that ,the immigration officer asked my passport and the packet sent by the USEM then she brought me in a small room and open my packet. She only stated the address of my fiance and asked me if it is the place where my fiance live. I simply say yes and after that she told me that i am good to go. Nothing much to worry...

Ok, Its similar procedure for usc and immigrant except for submitting the documents. Its easy then. My husband explained me the rest.

Thanks for replies.

Possibly depends on the POE. My POE was Hawaii, there was a separate line for new immigrants.
