Oh, a question: do you only use e-mail to communicate, don't you use a instant messenger like yim, msn, aol? What about webcams? :P

:yes: Emails are nice, but instant messanger programs come closer to mimicing real life conversations. Throw in a webcam and you can learn your partner's body language. Throw in a mic, then you can talk in real time. It's almost like sitting across the table from the other person.

Except you can't reach across and touch. It's more like talking to your loved one in jail from across a plexiglass window :P
