I've been a VJ lurker for a while, and finally filed a K-1 petition for my fiance last week. I can tell you right now that I could NOT have done it without VisaJourney and the people on it, so thank you to anyone who ever answered a question, provided a timeline or posted something that made someone else's journey easier - you didn't know it, but you helped me as well. All credit for my honey eventually coming home goes to each and every one of you; just wanted to say thanks. :)

1/12/2015 - Application sent to Phoenix service center by USPS priority mail

1/14/2015 - Package received in Phoenix

1/16/2015 - NOA date (hard copy received 1/22)

1/20/2015 - Check cashed

2/09/2015 - Biometrics

2/11/2015 - In line for interview

3/28/2015 - Hard copy interview notice received

4/29/2015 - Interview at Chicago field office - Approved!!!

5/22/2015 - Oath ceremony - Now a US citizen!!!!!!

Omigod, I'm so, so thankful it exists ... I didn't know WHERE to start, but I followed the K-1 guide from start to finish, read the Master RFE List thread and lurked around a bit, and I think my John and I have presented an awesome petition. Wishing you the BEST from one England VJ to another!!

Random thoughts: I love this site! Funny too, I consider myself American, but when you think about it, we were all immigrants once! Most of my family tree goes back to England, so hello to you guys from the UK! The Mother Land! Thank you Captain Ewok, this site has made this journey a lot more fun, and much smoother. I actually sailed through my I-129F without RFE's thanks to this site!

I apologize, I know I posted in the wrong forum on several occasions, I am kind of clumsy that way!

Only 16 days until my fiance joins me here in the U.S.! Thank you to all, I hope you all hang in there! Good Luck everyone!
