The reason I couldn't make it to the Oath was because I had to be out of the country attending my brother's wedding.

I rescheduled my interview. The initial appointment was for Sept, I wrote and requested it be rescheduled after Dec. (I was overseas with work commitments). Obviously it caused a delay, but, no problems.

Do you remember where you sent the reschedule request? I sent mine to the local immigation office where I was interviewed. (San Bernardino) I didn't get anything back other than a Notice of Action, I-797C (on 12/08) saying that I failed to appear for the initial oath and I will be rescheduled. This was from the local immigration office where I sent the resshedule request. It's as if they never received my request and I had sent it in with priority and delivery confirmation so I know they got it. Then in 2/09 I received a fingerprinting notice from the Los Angeles office telling me that my fingerprint is no longer valid and I need to get it done again.

Did you get a Notice of Action, I797C like I did saying that you missed your oath and that you would be rescheduled? Or did you just get a rescheduled oath right away?

I'm just worried that for some odd reason I'm having to start the whole interviewing process over again....

Thanks.
