Who is approved in MARCH 2009

Another March approval here. I got my NOA2 in the mail last Friday. The approval notice is dated March 16, 2009 (only 33 days from the NOA1 date).

I need to start putting my NVC documents while waiting for my NVC case #. Goodluck everyone!

oh my god!! i just called NVC to check if they got my case number... even though on the uscis site its still pending... anddddddddddddd i was approved!!!! on the 19th. March!!!!

now i guess i have to wait to send my ds3032 right?

His_Wifey, call them up tommorrow and talk to an operator. They should ask you for your and your spouse's email address. If not, do give them one. This way, You and your spouse will start getting things via email (like DS-3032 generation, AOS bill, etc). Wait for them to send out an email about DS03032 being generated before you send email. Most people send it immediately but not sure if it works or not. It's your choice. Good luck

His_Wifey, call them up tommorrow and talk to an operator. They should ask you for your and your spouse's email address. If not, do give them one. This way, You and your spouse will start getting things via email (like DS-3032 generation, AOS bill, etc). Wait for them to send out an email about DS03032 being generated before you send email. -Completed and signed form I-864

-2005 to 2007 tax transcript

-Employment letter

-Pay stubs from 09/2008 to 03/2009

I still plan to call them on Monday to confirm that these things are enuf

I think you need all the tax returns form if you don't have transcript. But I am not sure so it is best to call them to be on safe side.

Yah, I paid my AOS bill saturday so hopefully it is PAID by Tuesday. So, I'll send out AOS by Wednesday. I am applying for extension on 2008 taxes so not sending out anything for 08. But I need to call NVC to find out if they need anything for year 08 or what I've is sufficient. You're right, petitioner can get tax transcript from IRS for free FREE! 1 (800) 829-1040 It takes about a week to arrive.

Yep, I got IIN in the same email as AOS bill. They'll send that to petitioner. They'll also send copy of form DS-3032 to petitioner. Beneficiary should get email about DS-3032. I had already asked my husband to send me a filled/signed but undated DS-3032. so I'll be sending that out on Monday (in UPS next day). As you can see from my timeline, I've also sent email twice. Till they don't get DS03032, Package IV (DS-230) bill will not be generated. That's why rushing it.

Your list is correct for AOS packet. How about the DS 230 packet, will we need to send the 2 passport photos for the beneficiary and petitioner's divorce cert? Or do the divorce certs simply apply to beneficiary?

Champi and others, how is it that you will be sending the AOS packet the day after your AOS shows up paid. In the email it says to wait for the envelope marked DOCS ONLY and to send to NVC in the enclosed envelop. Only the envelop cannot be attached to email, so we were instructed by our lawyer to wait till he receives it. But I asked others who said they sent it the next day their bill was paid...do u not intend to wait for the envelope then? I think we should call NVC to make sure this won't cause us problems down the line. I will try to get an answer about the whole envelope thing come Monday.

Also, our bill showed up paid on Thurs. (we paid ours on Wed.). Did urs show up PAID at some point? We were able to print our cover sheet and payments receipt, but now the online account went back to NOT PAID, though we can still access the receipt page saying the bill was paid ...once again My theory is yes it was PAID and we were able to print the cover sheet/pmt receipt; however, since the funds need 3 days to arrive in the NVC account, it went back to NOT PAID and won't change again till NVC receives the funds electronically from our lawyer's account. Not sure if my theory makes sense, feel free to chime in!

0. Cover Letter

1. Bar coded sheet (I assuming the one you get from website after paying fee)

4. Photocopy of the beneficiary's passport biographic data page

5. Original beneficiary’s birth certificate

6. Original beneficiary’s and petitioner’s marriage certificate

7. Original police certificate(s) of the beneficiary from local passport office (waiting on this one) and commissioner office

8. Two passport-sized photographs (2X2 inches) of the beneficiary (Write down NVC Case# and beneficiary’s full name and date of birth on the back side of both photographs lightly)

I am hearing about envelope for the first time from you. I'll ready my email again and see if I find any mention of that. I do plan to call NVC before I send out both packages. I am following the shortcut written by others and I don't see a mention of envelope stuff anywhere. Let us know what you find

As for the PAID or NO-PAID behavior your're noticing, I think it's nothing to worry about, there is a mention of it on the LingChe's shortcut guide

CAUTION: Website shows status of payment as “IN PROCESS” and it might change to “NOT PAID” do not panic or pay twice, if this happens, wait till payment status shows as PAID. Do not pay twice.

Here is the part in the email attachment that mentions the envelope.

Payment Instructions

1. Go to www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and click the "Fee Collection" link, then the "Online

Payment" link, and then follow the instructions displayed.

2. Three days after making an online payment you must:

a. Return to the Online Payment website to view the payment receipt, which will give

you instructions for the next step. You can print a copy of the receipt for your records.

DO NOT send a copy to the National Visa Center.

b. Print a "Document Cover Sheet" for each fee paid, or save a PDF copy to print later.

c. When the IV fee status indicates PAID, follow the link to "Applicant Document

Processing Instructions", and follow the instructions for each applicant.

d. When the AOS fee status indicates PAID, follow the link to "Affidavit of Support

Processing Instructions", and follow the instructions for each sponsor.

First I'd like to congatulate all those approved in March....I just received our NOA2 for my stepson that was dated 3-13-09...I haven't took the time to read the entire thread so I don't know if someone pointed this out already, but there is a shortcut to get through NVC called LIMCHE here on the forum that got me through NVC the first time in about 45 days, would have been faster but I got a RFE on my AOS that cost me about a week...GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!
