I called NVC awhile ago and i asked if i have my intervew date - the operator said that she cannot give the exact date since its the USEM who will assign the interview date. She also said that May was already full of interviews...

I asked if our case is really complete (just an assurance) and she said it is complete.. ill call the NVC mabye after 3 days

OMG. It's official! Our case is completed as of today. It's confirmed by the operator!! :dance:

We are not going to get a May interview, but there's a possibility that they can give us a June interview. It depends if the Embassy in Manila still has capacity to accommodate a slot for us. If not, early July is fine with us too. Anyway, we will find out for sure in the next few days. The operator said that they normally schedule interviews during the 2nd week of the month. That's next week already.

Carlish, I'm from the Philippines. I just got my NOA2 now, but hubby and I were wondering on what month the interviews are being scheduled now.

Is it okay if you send me a PM or an update on your interview date? We're hoping for an August POE for me... hope we fly through NVC, because Aug is my hubby's bday. And we want to spend his bday together in the US.

Hi. I know for sure that May is full. The operator said that we may get a June interview, but she can't guarantee it yet as everything still depends on the slot availability in USEM.

I'm hoping to either get a June or July interview. It would be nice to have my husband celebrates his birthday here in July.

We requested an expedite via e-mail in April. We are expecting a baby (the first for both of us) and I am due today. I included a letter from my doctor who has been concerned for my health and the health of the baby since I have been really stressed because I am here by myself. We also got a Senator involved. I have heard absolutely nothing from the NVC about it. Everytime I speak to a representative, they still say that it is being processed (because the consulate overseas processes the request, not the NVC... so they are waiting to hear from the Italian consulate). I don't really buy it... but it wouldn't really make much of a difference now, so I have kinda stopped pursuing it.

My advice would be to go ahead and try... it can't hurt. I hope you have better luck than we did.

I'd say rebook your ticket to Cebu. I can only imagine how hard it would be to reschedule your interview at the Embassy.

I guess it's really up to you.

I'm scheduled to visit my husband in the Philippines next week and was supposed to be there for 2 weeks. But I'm going to rebook my flight so I can be there with him for his interview at the Embassy on June 8. It will cost me a fortune to cancel and rebook my flight, but it will be worth it as I'm hoping to bring him with me when I go back here in the states.
