I checked my status, and the NVC auto voice said, "waiting on return of biographical information from petitioner, will review paperwork and notify me of the outcome."

What is that mean exactly? I got a confirmation in the email last Wednesday that the AOS fee was paid. Are they waiting for the AOS package? But I already sent it and it was delivered to NVC last Tuesday. Maybe it hasn't been entered in the system yet?

I think this means they are waiting for your DS230

I checked my status, and the NVC auto voice said, "waiting on return of biographical information from petitioner, will review paperwork and notify me of the outcome."

What is that mean exactly? I got a confirmation in the email last Wednesday that the AOS fee was paid. Are they waiting for the AOS package? But I already sent it and it was delivered to NVC last Tuesday. Maybe it hasn't been entered in the system yet?

Our AVR also says receives biographical forms but still waiting on payment of AOS and receipt of AOS packet to continue review (or something along those lines) :bonk: Operator said to ignore the AVR. It's best to talk to a live operator as the AVR is not always up to date. In our case, we sent the AOS and DS230/docs in one envelop so how could it be they do not have the AOS packet??? (rhetorical question :wacko::blink::huh: )

By the way, did AVR say that your case was shipped to consulate on xxxxxx date? I am still confused as to when the interview date gets assigned, after NVC ships the package to Embassy or before..

Champi, I believe the case complete must occur first before anything else can happen.

Update: Called NVC a little while ago and 2 operators confirmed our CR1 is already out of AP and in final review stages!! I am hoping for a case complete by Friday or Monday at the latest. OMG dare I get excited about a possible May interview flip???? :star::star::star::star:

What is more reliable information, Tax Transcript or the W2 or 1040?

My co sponsor's information income is not tally or balance from his tax transcripts to his W2 and 1040..

Where is the best information that we can put in the 1864 form?

For example his income for 2008 is $40,000 according to W2 but in his tax transcript its like $39,000.. What is the real score? Please help us.

I called the NVC to clarify since im really wondering if we need to put the 2 kids of my husband which he didnt claim in his tax. The reason why we have a co sponsor is because of his 2 kids which his income didnt meet the requirements.. I asked the operator if we really need to put the 2 kids in the 1864 form but she said, Let me read the Instruction here, just for a moment... while waiting for a few seconds, she told me - you can exclude the 2 kids of your husband since he didnt claim them in his tax.. Meaning, we dont need a co sponsor since i should be the only one that he needs to support... I said, oh my GOD we already submitted the AOS documents last night. What should we need to do now? We have to edit it and remove his 2 kids in the form 1864.. She said, you can send a new form with written explanation that you did some mistake...

I told my husband about it and i ask him if he can call the NVC again for a second opinion just to make sure that all the operators are the same with their words.... My husband called the NVC and the same answer he received.... SIGH!!!

Now, will it be an issue with the Embassy if we will send a modified and edited 1864 form again? Coz honestly, im not sure if my husband and my co sponsor is enough for them to support me. My husband earned only $22,000 and his dad is like $35,000 for this year 2009.. Is this enough? I asked the operator about this and she replied - i cannot answer that since its the Embassy who makes the decision...

01/15/2009 Sent I-130 package for CR1 to Chicago Lock Box, 01/19/2009 USCIS Chicago received the application

01/26/2009 USCIS sent out NOA1, 01/28/2009 Moneygrams Order cashed

02/24/2009 Case is in Vermont Processing Center (told by the USCIS by calling the free phone line)

03/02/2009 NOA2 mailed, application approved!!!! (47 days since we mailed I-130 package)

03/05/2009 NVC Received Case / Case number assigned

03/12/2009 DS-3032 / AOS fee bill generated and e-mailed to us, 03/12/2009 I e-mailed and snail mailed DS-3032 and paid AOS fee bill online

03/18/2009 NVC received DS-3032 and it was entered into the system (I never received email confirmation)

03/20/2009 IV Bill generated and I paid online

03/30/2009 Sent I-864 package to NVC, 03/31/2009 Sent DS-230 package to NVC

04/01/2009 IV fee shows unpaid, 04/03/2009 documents are under review (confirmed by operator)

04/14/2009 found out the exact issue with DS-230 and sent the response using Chris Parker's RFE shortcut and later in the day received an email checklist for RFE

04/23/2009 CASE COMPLETED, 06/02/2009 VISA RECEIVED
