I called NVC expecting more discussion on Line 20 of DS230 not saying "Present" instead she said,

"YOUR CASE IS COMPLETE" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now the only problem preventing sending it out of NVC is this issue of verifying that I made my IV payment (online 3 weeks ago!!)

Tomorrow I am going to overnight them a copy of the payment receipt and hopefully get our package out of that building and on its way to Manila!!!!!!!!!!!!

When do I expect to get the DS-3032 and AOS fee bills generated after getting a NVC case number? I already provided our email addresses.

I want to email the DS-3032 so bad. LOL

Just today, my husband received a snail mail about DS3032 Form and AOS Bill.

I already send the DS3032 form yesterday using the Fedex - what i did i printed out the form in my email, i fill it up and send it. So we just have to ignore the snail mail that my husband received today?

Ignore the snail mail. Pay the AOS. Then you should wait for the IV Bill. Paying the IV bill online before receiving the bill has caused us a final delay which I am trying to resolve.

WE didnt pay the IV bill because we dont want to mess the process... We will wait for the NVC to send us an email about IV Bill..

Was your DS-3032 accepted before paying IV Bill? I've not received IV bill but my DS-3032 was accepted, got it through AVR today. I was able to pay IV bill yesterday. Trying to see if I would run into same issue as you...

Just called NVC again after receiving an email of AOS/IV instructions -DUH!!! NVC already has both (they were received yesterday). So I called them to see what the deal is, and it turns out our review has begun and operator said to ignore email...AMAZING!! I had called a few hours ago and there was nothing new and all of sudden the operator was able to tell me this!! Now hoping for a QUICK QUICK case complete!! Wishing on lucky stars

My husband called NVC yesterday and was told that our file was in the building but not in the system yet.

I called back today on the off chance that I might get the case #, and no dice. The *ahem* charming and personable fellow that I spoke to (after getting a busy signal 17 times, and then waiting on hold for quite a while) informed me that they have not received our case yet, and it can take 2-4 weeks. I said "oh, that's odd. The last time we called we were told that you have the case there, but that it's not in your computer yet." The guy just repeated himself and said "we have not received your case ma'am. It can take 2-4 weeks." I kinda wanted to say "thank you for repeating yourself instead of providing me with actual information which must be available somewhere, if one of your co-workers was able to access it", but I didn't want to get sassy with him so I just said "okay, thank you anyway for your time" and then he hung up without any further acknowledgment.

This is gonna be a FRUSTRATING process! I don't mind the waiting. I know this is all going to take as long as it takes, but I really hate getting the run-around from people, and I also can't stand poor phone etiquette.

Our papers got approved last March 5, 2009 and we got our case number after 2 weeks..

You just have to wait again or if you want - you can just simply listen to the AVR first and the AVR will be giving you your case number. That's what happen to me.

Hunging up the phone is rude.. I am a customer representative of UK but we are not allowed to do that. That's terrible!! Sorry to hear that

As i observed, once the papers is complete at NVC - the Embassy will assigned an interview date to the beneficiary after a month. I just observed it from the couples here as i look at their timeline.. If our papers will be completed this month of April - our interview will be on June. Thats what i observed......

I have found that the supervisors are much more friendly and more helpful if you can get to talk to one of them you will get farther in what you need.

I also know they can strech the rules as we were having problems emailing our DS-3032. The supervisor had entered it over the phone for me the petitioner so if you realy need some thing try and talk to a supervisor as the operators only give out canned responses.

I think some times the operators are just lazy and dont want to look any thing up . Maybe that is why they are just operators

I think it may be different for each embassy/consulate. The consulate in Juarez appears to give out appointment the second week of each month, so you could be lucky and they could receive your file the first week, or not so lucky and they could receiv it the third week. I think we'll be finish in NVC around the third week in April (fingers crossed). I'm hoping the consulate will assign an appointment for us in the second week in May
