We got approved the 22nd and our application still hasn't arrived at NVC. We've been calling everyday and nothing yet. How long does it usually take to get there?

I got an email today regarding the DS3032 Form to be send to their office.

I will send this form thru Fedex...

ours was approved on March 20th and application hasn't arrievd at NVC yet.. I was told to give it at least two weeks.. but still I am gonna call once a day to see if its been updated. keep us posted!

BTW, will the petitioner and the beneficiary both get the DS-3032 from NVC? I already asked my husband to fill out the online form and mail it to me via fedex this week. Is this form acceptable? What about the bar-code at the top? Where will I get it without waiting for the package from NVC?

I'm planning to email it too as soon as I able to give them our email addresses today.

you ll get it by email carlish... we did yesterday.... both me and my husband... my problem is that i cant type on the forms that were sent to me by NVC on email.... is there anyone that can rescue me from this lol.... it wont type a thing on the forms sent by them and i would like to use these forms since theres the barcode ready on top and no need to generate any barcodes... please advice!

Hi...

My I-130 petition was approved on March 18th. I am still waiting for a hardcopy. My approval was verbal from the immigration officer that interviewed me.

Now I am waiting for notice from NVC..I call everyday, but it still hasn't been entered into the system. They are waiting for the hardcopy to be mailed from the local office.

I sumnitted my I-130 on August 25, 2008. It went to VSC, then was transferred on Dec 22, 2008 to CSC. Then on January 21, 2009, it was transferred to Pittsburgh, PA local office.

I finally got through and got a hold of NVC operator this morning, and I was able to give our email addresses. Nothing has been generated yet as they just received the case last week. I'll guess the waiting game begins yet again. Hope we get our DS-3032 and AOS fee bills sooner than later.

- Pay the IV bill tonight

- Mail the I-864 tomorrow

- Mail the IV packet on Saturday (hubby has to get court records on Friday)

I finally feel like things are moving along nicely.

I hope to:

- Pay the IV bill tonight

- Mail the I-864 tomorrow

- Mail the IV packet on Saturday (hubby has to get court records on Friday)

Chirl, nice to have some progress You sound like me, lol. Documenting every little step. Nice to finally be able to do that after the long wait at VSC where everything seemed to remain at a standstill for 7 1/2 long months!!

To follow in ur footspteps, here's our progress at NVC:

-Both our AOS/DS 230 were received at NVC this morning (9:18a.m.)

Next step:

-both packets to be scanned into NVC system

-Both packets to be reviewed (hopefully with no RFEs )

-Case complete!! and interview date assigned (WOOHOO...can't wait!!)

Is there a requirement that the passport photos for the DS-230 be recent and have been taken within 30 days? I still have extra copies of the set of photos that I sent for the I-130. Maybe I can use them for the DS-230?

Hehe daily ritual ...yep I can relate It's funny the other day I called to ask a question and then my lawyer called me with an answer so I called back asking if my lawyer called them and the lady said no he didn't but u did a little while ago and she laughed They keep track of each phone call we make to them.

Oh no! Heheheh they're totally gonna get sick of me. That's pretty funny.

You are very correct to call them everyday. However it takes them 10 days as we are seeing lately with recent approvals for it to get to NVC. Once the case number is assigned, then it is almost a week later that the bill is generated. However, it is very important that you contact the operator and provide them with your email addresss. If you file have reached, they will ASK you and enter both email addresses and phone numbers into the system. All forms are now sent via email later.

Thank you kindly! I haven't tried calling them yet today because I'm in the U.S. visiting my husband, and it costs me about $2 per minute to use my phone here, and I haven't bothered borrowing my husband's cell phone to give NVC a call. Great advice about giving them my email address though. I'll call and do that later. Thanks!

I have already filled out the DS-230 form, and I've created a cover letter to send with it. I'm leaving those along with my birth certificate here with my husband so he can send them out when the time comes. We'll also head out a bit later tonight to get more passport-style photos. Hopefully we'll have everything ready to go by Wednesday when I head home. Then all I'll have to do is get my police check and mail it to him.
