hey ppl... i know its still early but i would like to know if packages AOS and IV package have to be sent together or can be sent on different dates?

Please advice.... Thanksssssss :)

Can be sent separately but lot of people send it together to avoid false RFE.

why would there be a false RFE champi?

It's hard to track down the post where I read this. But basically, once AOS package is received. They wait for DS-230 package to arrive. And people have reported that it generates false RFE saying missing documents but in reality, they're just waiting for DS-230 package to arrive. I don't think there is TODO on our part to fix it. It's just a false RFE that could give a scare for a second :)

"M n M yes they do give out RFE for the entire package. If your AOS is reviewed and your DS-230 is not there, the system auto generates an RFE.

I got the same false RFE. Track your package, and make sure it was delivered to NVC. With the recent wave of approvals, they NVC is probably behind in getting all the files into their system."

By the way, I do plan to send them separately

Yep. Also, if we send AOS this month, they won't require 08 tax returns. So I am in a rush to get AOS package out of door. I've not filed tax returns or extension (I'm going for extension).

transcripts shall be on the way to my hubby's address.... he filed 2008 today so we have the tax return for 2008... im still waiting to see when to send ds3032 so its still early for me

it took mine 8 days from CSC to get case number... so be on the lookout carlish :)

To All: You can see from my post today that this is what happened to me today (FALSE RFE) because I sent the packages separately. I told them that the 230 was received by them today aso that the missing IV payment information should be taken care of when they see the IV barcode sheet (can't generate until IV is paid). She said no worries, and that everything should still be fine. She said I did not have an RFE on my AOS I-1864 so that was at least good news.

Well there have been a few in Jan for the CR1 that were approved last month so lets keep our fingers crossed. IF the trends keep up I would say late March early April

Wouldn't that be nice. When I applied first I assumed about 6 months, but from other people's dates God knows!

USAMEXIRL, I swear I was thinking the same way you are. When I started out, my mindset was, wait for at least 6 months and then (if I am lucky) expect something.... But with recent approvals and stuff... I am spoiling myself with wishful thinking ;)....

why u had to do everything twice like two time emailing 3032 and than also mailing. same with othr stuff too.

hey i am also one the lucky one i think.....

as you can see my time line in about 35 days i got both my NOA1 an NOA2 ...

hopefully NVC can keep this faster speed as CSC has done to my case...

I just got back from Peru visiting my wife and when I opened the mail box in the bunch of junk mail was an envelope from the DHS with a nicely creased US of A NOA2. WOOO HOOO!

There have been others who had to wait 2 weeks. Don't worry it will eventually turn up. Hopefully sooner than later.

To those of you who got NOA2 in 35 days or fast, congrats, that's awesome!! Ours took 230 agonizing days!! I therefore hope we can get a quick NVC complete (PLEASE GOD!! :innocent:) Hoping to get a case complete by scd week of April :star:
