Should the letter of intent to be submitted for the interview be the same as the ones we included in our I-129 F petition?

"Being parents has brought us to our knees in gratitude. We are humbled like never before. We are filled with exhilaration so awesome that we wanted to shout our joy in giant swooping phrases. We love our little man so much. It's a beautiful thing. Truly, babies are God's proof that the best things do come in small packages!!!"

same format - new date

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS

I don't think we submitted one for the interview. I don't think it is a requirement besides the initial petition.

Sometimes there is 'required' and then there are 'best practices' that have been used by many VJers successfully.

Most folks will do a new letter of intent (from both parties) that are very similar to the ones sent with the original petition. (Example forms show examples for both.)

Made us wonder too with the G-325 and I-129 F, do we have to fill out those forms again? Does the consul or pre-screener usually ask to submit those forms again?

The pre-screener and the consul officer most likely will not ask you for another I-129F, G-325, nor I-134. However, baby and I believe it is a good idea to bring along ORIGINALS of these documents because it is possible that you may have missed something on one of these documents. Or, the case worker may lose your documents. Both of these things happened to us.

In our case, the consul required us to submit another ORIGINAL I-129F because I missed one of the check boxes on page three.

The case worker who lost our I-134 wanted us to submit another ORIGINAL I-134. Then he decided that baby could bring in her COPY. It wasn't until I talked to him that he finally decided that we did not need to submit anything at all. However, baby dropped off a COPY of our I-134...just in case.

Make sure you bring along all of your ORIGINAL receipts. Bring along a COPY of everything else. It is best not to take any chances.

We tried our best to follow BEST practices, but in this case, we didn't submit one either for the I-129F or the interview. No one along the way has asked for it or commented on it not being there. What we did get a comment on that we didn't have was an employment letter. I just plain forgot it but they let it go.
