I have a question about I-130. One of the items asks which USCIS office will the relative apply for adjustment of status. Since I am sending my I-485 together with the I-130 to Chicago (as requested by USCIS website), should I write down on I-130 Chicago, or NYC (where I live???)

You should write down your local USCIS office which is in NYC

You put the USCIS office that deals with your zip code check here https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=of....office_type=LO

Scroll to bottom of page and put in your zip code.
