Hi everyone. I'm a longtime reader, few time poster.

My wife filed the N400 Dec. 13, 2008 and we got back the notice of receipt within a week. However, since then, we have received nothing until the "Case File Review Notice / Interview Document Check List" notice arrived today. It asks for us to bring IRS 1722 tax info and proof of residence documents.

Our problem is that there is no indication as to date or time of interview. Did something get lost in the mail? I called the phone number but just answering machine for the weekend. What should we do?

Any speculation, advice or guidance is greatly appreciated.

I would wait until Monday to call USCIS, you may need to schedule an infopass.

As for IRS 1722 tax info: They are asking for a tax transcript, or your complete IRS returns.

I have heard that people received a separate document checklist and interview letter. So maybe your interview letter will arrive on Monday or Tuesday. If not, I would call USCIS.

I received my interview letter and it also had the standard list of documents to bring (e.g. it asked for the Selective Service Registration, even though I'm female and was older than 26 when I became Permanent Resident). I did not receive a separate document checklist.

You'll get a seperate letter for the interview date. I recevied my case file review notice on Feb 20th and the interview notification letter today (Feb 28th).

Hmm... I received my interview letter almost three weeks ago, my interview is on the 17th. Should I call USCIS and ask if there's anything else I need to take to the interview? Or should I just keep on check my mailbox for the next two weeks and hope that I have all the important documents at hand?
