I have a question about I-864 for Federal Tax Return, and IRS transcripts.

Does NVC requires both of Federal Tax Return and IRS transcripts.

I have all my 3 years of taxes returned 2008, 2007, and 2006 with W2. Do I need to call IRS to send me transcripts? This will take more than 10 business days. Thank you for your help.

Tax transcripts are more valid than returns. Took me 7 days to get mine,

You can have them faxed to you same day during normal business hours. Free also.

One or the other not both.

If you use returns, the return MUST include financial evidence like (W2, 1099, etc).

Its better for you to get the tax transcripts, otherwise you need to send all the support documentation for your tax return.

How do you get your tax transcripts faxed to you?? I didn't hear an option for getting them faxed when I called the IRS number.

To get tax transcript fax you need to talk to IRS person and stand by next to fax machine.

Back in 2007, they use to fax it but I do not know current practice.

Last year, I use automated system to get my tax return via mail (as no one was picking up the phone or used to get disconnect).

I had just called them yesterday to requested my tax transcript. Just in case I need it. It's hard to reach IRS person during the TAX SEASON. I have made all my tax documentation a hard copy to send to the NVC. Thank you all for your help.
