Hello all,

Is EAD and adjustment of status case status information supposed to be available on the same USCIS website that visa status updates were (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp)? I thought we could check the status on these applications as well, but when I enter the receipt number for either the I-485 or the I-765 in my husband's case they say that they can't find the case. The receipt dates are Feb 2nd and we have already had his biostats appt so it seems like the info should be in the system by now...

Thanks for your help,

Jillian

it varies from one case to the other. some people have their case status immediately after receiving the NOA. mine too almost 3 weeks. i would also get that invalid case number error.

My one and only update on the online site was that my case was received and is pending, that was in September 2008. I've had the interview and everything and now waiting for my card - so I suppose I'm just one of the unlucky ones. When I asked the interviewer whether it would be updated on the web site or not he didn't even know what I was talking about...

so it's just luck of the draw I think.

09/03/2008 - Received - Signed by SMITH

09/10/2008 - Checks cleared ($1010 + $355)

09/12/2008 - 2 NOA's received (I-130, I-485) - Dated 09/08/08

09/16/2008 - Received notice for biometrics appointment on 09/30/2008

09/20/2008 - Biometrics done - Walk in (Orlando) Took 10 minutes

09/22/2008 - I-485 viewable online (pending, of course)

09/30/2008 - Biometrics Appointment (2pm)

12/30/2008 - Received Interview Letter

02/25/2008 - Interview

03/06/2008 - Welcome Letter received (the website will clearly never send me updates!)

I have the same problem too, I can't check it at USCIS site. We filed Feb. 3 and my biometrics was Feb. 25 but still I can't check it online. Is your receipt number starts with MSC? Cuz mine is MSC.

Same here.

NOA1 beginning of Feb, biometrics end of Feb. Our receipt numbers start with MSC, and we cannot check online.
