I have colds and medical is monday March 2, 2009

This may be a dumb question but I get to use this card every now and then. I am working full time and of all times for this stupid cold to hit me is the week before my medical. I have already filed for vacation next week. MY daughter has cough and colds too - know what I mean? It's not harsh or anything. NO fever, no flu. Just plain dumb cold and cough for the lil one and I FEEL LOUSY.

NOw, will this affect the medical results? I need to be sure. I don't wanna jeopardize my med results just because of this &*XF(^D dumb cold. Our flight is at 4am from Cebu.

Any thoughts?

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

9.25.2013: Oath Ceremony

Thanks a lot bmtrrbt. I really hope and pray everything will be fine. I am doing double doses for vitamin C and will go shop for fruits tomorrow.

If it is truely the Rhinovirus then it should have no effect on your physical. Drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of rest. A cold lasts for 14 days.

My medical is Monday the 2nd at 7am! (However, that's in Zagreb, Croatia)

I just got over a severe sinus infection and am still caughing like crazy. I hope they'll just ignore it and have me NOT get any shots at all.

I-129F Sent: Aug 20th 2008

Interview Date: April 8th 2009, 10:30 - APPROVED!

K-1 Visa Received: April 9th 2009

POE: Aug 8th 2009, Minneapolis

Wedding: Aug 28th 2009

Our I-129f was approved in 114 days from our filing date.

Our case spent 52 days being chewed by NVC.

sept. 26, 2008----got case # from a live operator

oct. 6, 2008 ------received AOS bill/paid online

oct. 7, 2008 ------shows PAID

oct. 14,2008 -----IV fee generated/ paid online

oct. 15,2008 -----shows PAID

oct. 16,2008 -----mailed DS230 overnight

oct. 23,2008 ---- RFE

nov. 3,2008 ----- case complete

nov. 26,2008 --- medical exam

aug. 14,2009 --- remedical finally, passed

aug. 24, 2009 -- interview , passed

aug. 29, 2009 -- visa in hand

sept. 24, 2009 -- POE LAX

Drink 8-10 glasses of water and avoid ice water which can irritate your throat. Also try sipping some warm chicken broth. Good luck on your medical. God bless!

Just let them know you have been sick for a week and tell them that you are taking medications, take that with you. You blood test or x-ray will not make to much of effect unless you have something medically wrong with you. Bring the medicatiour your taking and JUST let them know when you took it, how much, and for how long. They can figure it out from there...! GOODLUCK!!! Don't eat greasy food or cold drinks as it will make it worst!

Just let them know you have been sick for a week and tell them that you are taking medications, take that with you. You blood test or x-ray will not make to much of effect unless you have something medically wrong with you. Bring the medicatiour your taking and JUST let them know when you took it, how much, and for how long. They can figure it out from there...! GOODLUCK!!! Don't eat greasy food or cold drinks as it will make it worst!
