hi guys...just want to clarify coz i've read some posts here that made me a little confused. My visa will expire on Aug. 10, 2009. Based from what i know i have until that date to arrive in US, right...and the 90 days to marry my fiance will start on the day of my entry in US. I've read a post earlier but accidentally closed the tab so now i cant remember who's post was it...anyways, what I remember, on her port of entry the date that was given to her was until march only instead of May...some say it could be a typo error but another VJer responded that her experience is the same....IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THEY GIVE U LESS THAN 90 DAYS TO MARRY...thanks

You have 90 days to get married after arriving at your POE. Make sure your I-94 is properly anotated with your arrival date before leaving the POE. That is what the USCIS will be looking for when you adjust status. There was no expiration date on my wife's I-94. If there is an error on the expiration date, get it fixed before leaving the POE. Other than that, an incorrect expiration date should not be an issue, except for causing a delay if you were ever stopped and checked.
