Expedite Aug filers

Guys and Gals,

If you are outside the six month time period you should call and get your case expedited. Mine was aug 25th and when i called them they just told me to put in a request to look at it ....... and asked me to wait till march 22nd for the status ...........This was on the 19th ....I called on the 26th and asked about the status and they told me i will have to wait till march 22nd ..... same #######. But before hanging up i asked them tat was they did was a expedite ...they said no its not and expedite is a different process. I put in a request for expedite .... the next day on the 27th i get an email that my case is approved and sent on Feb 26th. So you all should call them and get it expedited.

great me and you have the same time line i hope i get mine soon i all so called the last week and they put iin a requst for me to, aug 25th was my day to, I did not know that you can call for a expedite

Not to be a downer but I think I've read on VJ that some ppl who put it an expedite were denied and while I want to get all excited about it, it would be wise to hear from others who have been through this before getting our hopes up... though I really want to get all excited having read your post

When you say u are outside the 6 month mark, are you talking about K3 or I 130? B/c according to USCIS the K3 is still at May 12 so technically us JULY?AUG. filers are NOT outside the date range yet as per USCIS.

Not to be a downer but I think I've read on VJ that some ppl who put it an expedite were denied and while I want to get all excited about it, it would be wise to hear from others who have been through this before getting our hopes up... though I really want to get all excited having read your post

I am refering to I 130 form. Mine was Aug 25th for I 130 form. The lady i talked to told me they are currently processing sept 30 for I130 and may for I129 (K3).

Yes, the I 130 would be out of the processing date range. However, I also see you have filed for I 129 and since they are both getting approved together, and it doesn't reflect on your timeline, did you get approved for both or just the I 130? And if you put in a service request already must you wait till you are allowed to put in an expedite?

I thank you for sharing your experience It sure is very nice of you . Some wouldn't have bothered posting.
