Hello everyone please advice us we decided to stick the k3 not Cr-1 coz my husband haven’t file separate petition I-130 for my daughter and if he file now it takes long time to wait again to approve that and I don’t want to leave my daughter alone in my country..But we already paid the $70 for AOS and I sent already thru snail mail the ds3032 but we just received email from NVC that want us to pay the $400. My question is it ok we just pay then we will finish the application when I’m there in US? because were concentrating k3 now Please advice what would be the best for us..Were not using lawyer just us.. So please advice

I have decided to go with the k3 as well. I called the NVC and they advised me not ot pay anymore fees until after my wife gets here. Then we woulf file for adjustment of status. I would advise you to call the for yourself and they will tell you all your options. 603-334-0700. good luck

For K-3 you only have to pay NOW the $ 131.00 for your NON IMMIGRANT bvisa but will cost you more in the long run when u come to the USA. CR1 is alot cheaper and quickier to get a job and for your choice base on your kid, its worth that wait. But actually K3 visa is quickier to get to the US compare to the CR1 whic is 2 months apart. Ypou have the entire year to c0ntinue with the CR1 and just let the NVC knows ur waiting for your kid 130 and ask for expedition esp if ur kids is very young or underage.
