In Chicago they are all mexican's, or other latino's. At the interview they pretend they aren't mexican either, are they ashamed of their nationality?

Maybe its a scam, maybe its all one nationality so they can hook up their scamming brothers with GCs.

" maybe its all one nationality so they can hook up their scamming brothers with GCs." I saw that trend too :dance:

Just what exactly is your problem?

I'm surprised this question is coming from a senior VJ member such as yourself. Now you tell me what is the difference between you (I129F approved in 13 days) and the rest of the tax payers that have to just be quiet and wait up to one year at times ?

My family is descended from British Royalty. We still run the country - that American Revolution thing was just a ruse to keep you publicans quiet.

Anyway, my great uncle the Duke of Vermont had our petition pulled out of the pile and put ahead of all the others. It was really handy.

Oh by the way - it was your tax money (yours personally) that paid for my new shoes last year when I went to the Persons Of Most Importance Ball.

Unless I've got my facts wrong to get a government job you have to be a citizen. So, I'd say their nationality is U.S.A. ;)

Maybe that is the rule for federal govenment, but state government you can be a legal resident and get a job.

Doesn't USCIS come under the federal government?

There are a handful of USCIS employees who are foreign-born American citizens...it is also very region specific as to who is employed in what part of the country. In my neck of the woods, Jacksonville DO, all of our IOs were anglos...not a one from some place else.

How about Los Angeles?

I work for USCIS. I deny petitions for fun. Normally if people have strange names. Sometimes I pull petitions out of a hat to see which ones I will approve. I never actually look anything over.

Now we are talking!
