I work at a rehab facility during the summer on an "as needed" basis. Unfortunately they "need" me quite often! . I don't want to work THAT much during the summer, so I screen my calls for that reason :)

we just have cell phones - no land lines...but that being said.

I will pick up most the time unless I know it's someone I don't want to talk to. If I don't know the number, I still pick up because I'm too curious not too :) I HAVE to know who it is...

That because my cell phone never gets called by soliciters.

I decided years ago that there were many things that I *had* to do in life...and that being a slave to a ringing phone wasn't one of them. I will let it ring, go to voicemail and pick up the message "whenever". I'll call back "whenever".

I'm slowly getting CAPS around to my way of thinking. ;)

When I was still living in Canada I actually would have my ringer off too.

We just use cell phones too. "I just don't feel like talking on the phone sometimes" is why I don't always answer. Also, if I don't recognize the number I don't answer it and let it go to voicemail. If they don't leave a voicemail then I guess it's not important anyway! :P Sometimes I don't answer calls from people I know if I don't feel like talking on the phone at the moment. Especially if it's someone who I know will talk for a full hour on the phone. Usually about nothing too! If it's my family I always pick it up though.

I don't really like talking on the phone. The longest amounts of time I was on the phone would be when Sujeet was still in India.

We use the cell phone more than anything....but I have a landline for DSL service. Occasionally we use the landline to call his parents but the cell has caller id...some people I just dont want to talk to. ;)

I have caller ID and answering machine, since one of my friends refuse to leave a message I check caller ID.

Out of 10 calls a day at least 9 are credit card companies trying to give me another card, sell me satillite TV, or some other "CHOP$U*k thing."

7-3-06 GREEN CARD ARRIVES IN MAIL!!!! Done for two years!!!!!!

I am here to help, even if it's just to offer my shoulder to cry or vent on... We are all in this together.!

My answers are based on personal experience, not fact.

We are on this rollercoaster ride together holding on for dear life.

I have two phone lines.

One has no phone on it and it's the one I give to people :-o

I don't like to speak on the phone, I just use it for my needs (buying things, booking flights, professional calls etc etc)

I "lost" lots of friends becaus they loooooove to talk on the phone way too much for me, i'm a loner I guess.
