Every time when we call USCIS, they give us BS... Most of the time they are rude, and what they say is what we can see online. I feel like the government is paying for the reps for doing nothing. Are they really needed?? I really envy them. They do nothing (giving false information) and get paid. Before IMBRA, I want them to do something about how the reps are.

Well, I can't complain about USCIS either. Visas take time we already know that. And it IS actually a good law. But I dont think they are doing all that to annoy anyone. Sure the law wasnt maybe well executed, but in future there are hopefully less immigration fraud cases.

hang in there

Please, for now, tell me in your replies to this message, what role u wanna play, and send me emails.

WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO THAT YOU CAN SLEEP BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to play the role of getting a good laugh in your one man campaign to fight a beaurcracy of thousands of people, including the President and the Director of Homeland Security. This govt wants to be sure of to whom thay are issuing visas, and get rid of marriage fraud that has plagued INS for years and years.

I don’t think that what we are trying to ask by writing the letter is to stop the IMBRA LAW, at least that is not my intention, I have a government job, and I get my background checked yearly, what is bothering me is the time it takes to perform this task, it is already a lengthily process, and instead of trying to expedite the process it is getting slower and slower> If what they want is more information well them send and Email and I am sure that everyone will reply, instead we have to wait till god know went to get a letter asking for more information.

I am ready to send what ever it is needed of me, I have not problem with that, but please ask me for it.

Hm...I dont think visa fiance(e) petitions are the only problems they have to deal with currently. There are many other petitions processed and it is summer time. Ever thought about that people might be on vacation. Remember there are also people sitting and working there. Who knows what is going on? Sure it sucks to be on hold and not to know anything at all. I know that as well . My husband gets his background checks yearly as well. Im sure they will work something out over there. I really dont think they are just sitting at their desk sleeping or drinking coffee all day. We still dont know anything about why the K3's are on hold either. And I am actually amazed that they move so fast. Considered to my government it IS fast. Maybe thats why I have that opinion.

Well I don’t think that they are sleeping or drinking coffee all day long, however I called a friend that works at one of the service center for INS, and he did not know what IMBRA was, he had no idea of the new law. That should not surprise me, because it has happen, believe me that it happens. We are all aware of this because we are in the middle of this process, but ask anyone that is not involve with immigration and they are clueless about it.

just remember you guys all rock, if you need protestors let me know. I am about to start a outsourcing company from pakistan. I will outsource protestors. PAKISTAN is #1 in demonstrations and Protest, in my opinion. We offer a variety of protestors, they range from mild protestors who merely hold signs and walk like they do in the US. We also offer WILD protestors, aka burning tires, flags(be it US or other), blocking roads, creating all kinds of havocs.

by the way i was talkign about protestors and not nachos or doritos

hafiz30, where is your price list? I could use a few profesional protestors in my life. If I could hire someone to be mad on my behalf, I'd pay. Here's a preliminary list of things I want your people to raise their blood pressure about: the hair on my upper lip, the leaky faucet in the kitchen, the neighbour who complains I snore. Any discount for VJers?

I think the fact that there are 10k K-1 petitions on hold since March 6 speaks very clearly! THEY ARE BUSY! Not to mention K-1's are only one of the many things these offices deal with.

As far as rude representatives, I have never had one. I speak to them kindly and they always return the favor.

I believe if a pole were done on VJ alone, asking how many folks had written congressmen, senators, or any other government official that might have an impact you would come up with a nice amount of letters that have already been sent. They all have if your question pertains to immigration bla bla bla, meaning they get queries all the time! Guarantee this has went on for years, they are very aware of the situation if they wanted to change it they would already be doing so. Everyones panties are in a wad due to IMBRA, it is sorting out now and in no time everyone will have their RFE's and be on their merry way.

Personally I don't want the government handing out visas like they are passing out candy on Halloween night!

 Patience - is the ability and willingness to wait a long time or to carry out a task that takes a long time, especially one that is by itself not heavy, but boring. It also means not easily getting angry or not showing anger in situations of human communication where the other is unreasonable. It is commonly referred to as a virtue, though it is not one of the traditional theological or cardinal virtues.

This govt wants to be sure of to whom they are issuing visas, and get rid of marriage fraud that has plagued INS for years and years.

I agree about our Goverment wants to make sure to whom they are issuing visas , We definitely do not want in our land more terrorists , thiefs , drugdealers or ny other kind of ###........ that have changed our lifestyles , if the "DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY" was created to keep us safe and we pay taxes for it to keep it up , than let it be.

I was losing my patience because I saw some VJ's that were getting approved before me when they applied after me , of course that was unfair , but was USCIS breaking the rules with me???? NO , absolutely not , they sent NOA's on which they tell you how many days is going to take before making a decision.

Go eat the pickle the Jersey_girl ask you to
