Yardie Medical Question

I know im jumping the gun because i havent even mailed my I 129 papers off yet but i was wondering about a couple of things...

1. do the medical include a drug test? ( im asking because most assume Jamaicans smoke in my case with my so it's sad but true lol)

2. is there a yardie interview questions thread already started?

3. im trying to focus on one thing at a time but i keep seeing AOS is that before or after they reach the U.S.A that fee is the most costly of the whole process and i need to figure when to start saving?

Yes there is a drug test, so no use and never used it.

AOS is after they arrive - you have 90 days to marry on the K1, then you file AOS

Start saving now, lol -

You have the application fee - $455 - The medical, the police report, the non-impediment, then at the interview the visa fee, the delivery charge - then the plane ticket here, at least 3 months of supporting both of you cause he can't work, the marriage, then AOS - plus all the travel back and forth to Kingston.

My Hubby does not have the record of his immunizations Should he be getting those done now, or wait until the medical since they know what is needed for immigration. thanks

I would start now.

They need Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Polio, Tetanus and Diphtheria, Toxoids, Pertussis, Influenzae type B(HIB), Hepatitis B, Varicella, Pneumococcal, and Influenza.

WELL IF HE HAS HIS IMMUNIZATION RECORD..I WOULDN'T EVEN GO THRU GETTING EVERYTHING..MY HUSBAND ONLY GOT 2-3 SHOTS..DIDN'T GO TO ANY OTHER CLINICS...BUT DO WHAT UR COMFY WITH

Kimmy my husband has his immunization record, but I was wondering was there anything he is missing. It does look like he does not have a HIB shot on his record, so I may send him down to the clinic to get that one.

I'm am in no way qualified to ask what i think he needs from looking at his record..if some of the shots are too old...they may ask to do them over...

That's what I was thinking also, so I just want to be safe rather than sorry. I know getting the chick pox and measle shot over won't hurt, so I might see if he would be willing ro do those too. Like today he might do any thing I say, then tomorrow, that stubbon Jamaican set in, and then I can't get him to do nothing. So strike while the fire is HOT. Ha ha
