I got touched last Feb 19th, then again on the 20th, but online status still says "Case received and pending." Today I opened the mailbox and there is our NOA2 paper copy! Approval date - February 19, 2009. Still no change in online status, never got an email. Called NVC and has already been forwarded to Guatemala City on the 25th. Don't trust the online status! Now I've got to get focused on the next steps!!!!! :dancing::dance::dancing::dance:

We are the same..got approve but online satus say"case received and pending"..we got the approval letter feb 26, 2009...so happy!!but dnt know what to do next?pls help :thumbs:

Where exactly can you see if your case is "touched" ?

On the USCIS site, you enter you case number (on the front page) or sign up for an account to check your case.

USCIS Case

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

On the USCIS site, you enter you case number (on the front page) or sign up for an account to check your case.

USCIS Case

You have to create an account in order to see touches. If you just enter your case number, it will tell you if the status has changed to "Case received and pending" to "Case approved." Mine never did. In order to see touches, you have to create an account, and when you log in it will show you your "portfolio." There it tells you "Last Updated" date - that is when you are touched. Mine said 10/29/08, then changed to 02/19/09, then to 02/20/09, but the case status never changed.
