Hy guys,

hey do you guys know why cases get "touches" on Saturday :huh: ??? I thought the government doesnt work on weekends? :blink:

Maybe I missed something?

OUR TIMELINE

01/20/06...married

02/28/06...NOA1....I-130 VSC

May 2006..Medical in Frankfurt

06/14/06...I-130 approved via email [day 111]

06/19/06...NOA2....I-130 received via mail

07/10/06...talked to embassy to expedite the process

07/12/06...NVC stated case completed and sent to FRANKFURT[day 147]

07/17/06...received packet 3 from embassy

07/29/06...received packet 4

08/15/06...INTERVIEW at 7:30am- APPROVED

08/21/06...VISA received

08/23/06...Flight to US

08/23/06...I am back home

09/20/06...received greencard in mail

09/27/06...received SSC in Mail

09/23/07...our daughter was born :)

30/05/07...filed for Removal of Conditions

07/05/08...received NOA for I-751

01/07/08...college here I come :)

waiting for biometrics and Approval.....

Quite common to be touched on a Saturday. I know it's shocking that they work weekends! :lol:

Feb 1-Filed & sent I-130

Feb 8-Received @ Nebraska

Feb 16-NOA1

May 1-NOA2

NVC:

May-30 Case # assigned

Jun-12 Received DS-3032 & I-864 AOS Fee Bill in mail

Jun-13 Mailed AOS Fee Bill MO to NVC

Jun-13 Emailed DS-3032 to NVC

Jun-14 AOS Fee Bill signed for & received by NVC

Jun-15 Email for DS-3032 received & accepted by NVC

Jun-29 IV Fee Bill arrived in mail

Jun-30 Mailed MO IV Fee Bill

Jul 1-IV Fee Bill next day received & signed

Jul 5-Received I-864 Form in mail

Jul 10-1st RFE received via email

Jul 13-2nd RFE arrived in mail

My I-130 was touched on one Saturday. Maybe the bureaucratic USCIS wants to assure us that they care for us 7 days a week!

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

ok time for a tech answer....

Most big databases eg Govs, Power Companies etc update their databases and syncronise them at 12:01 as they are sure that no-one will be using them. This can take several hours to do. So if the case was updated on Friday then the information will be sync'd with the internet page at 12:01am on Saturday.. Hense Sat touches
