CAN WE GET UPDATES ON-LINE???

I have an account set up on the UCIS site, but it asks for my original receipt #, and the status is outdated showing our original NOA1 receipt.

Is there anywhere that can update us according to our case #?

And if I were to call them where do I call?

I just sent in Packet 3 of our K1 today, and someone said if I wait two weeks, I can call to confirm that they rec'd it? is this true?

Also, where I am checking Montreal time lines, I am seeing 30 days and 2 days to process visa.... I thought is is more like 2-4 months before you hear from them?

Once it is out of the USCIS, I do not think you will see any status online, since it is at the embassy/consulate.

I called DOS about two weeks after we sent packet 3 in to Montreal to verify they received it, and they did.
