What make and model of car do you drive?

1999 Toyota Camry and 2006 Honda Element. Lai likes the Smart Car, and is considering one as our next vehicle, though we aren't likely to get a new car any time soon.

Why?

mainly because the windows are tinted so freaking dark I have to roll down the window if I want to turn. I didn't buy the car so I can't b*tch about it too much. I would have never picked it out. also, it's an automatic. who buys a car with a V8 and gets an automatic transmission?

i rarely drive it. it comes out if my other car is blocked in by another car. i will drive it after i have surgery so i'm not using my arm a lot to shift.

I had an '87 Caddy (DeVille) for a few years--auto V-8. It screamed Grandpa, but it had power!

V-8 sportscar w/ auto trans, now that's just silly.

Obviously, I'm dreaming of the Cool Whip hoop-D. (I mean, Joyce is!)

i was telling nessa they are good cars, i wanted to replace the camaro with a honda fit, but she don't like the honda fit.

It's too small for me...not enough leg room, but the head room is good.

I have a Dodge 1500 Hemi and love it. It is so comfortable to drive. Claudeth makes a kind of bed in the front seat (she is only 4'8"). We drove it to Colorado last summer and it was very comfortable. The drawback is that it only gets about 10mpg around town and 18 to 20 on the highway but maybe that has something to do with the way I drive.....I come from the 'leadfoot' era.

Yeah, I could put in $10,000 worth of aftermarket parts in my Supra and boost the engine HP up to 675 HP with 0-60 times under 4 seconds, but why? Top speed is governed down to 167 mph, but I can get a speeding ticket driving 50 in a 55 and even when it's parked. Driving sanely, it gets 29 mpg, but I love that eight way power seat, like having a hot blond on my back.

Why is my 12 yr old for ranger so popular nowadays? yeah, it is well maintaned and all, but it is a 12 yr Ford truck! One of the reasons I bought was I figured no one would want to steal it. Now I am thinking of parking it in the garage.
