The more pictures you have the better. So if you're only going to show 3 or 4 pictures, I suggest you have more handy. But it doesn't matter if they're original, copies or printed on a single sheet of paper as long as you have plenty.

Pictures are actually secondary evidence as they are too easy to manipulate. ;)

A few is fine for the initial petition but do be sure you have real proof, such as passport stamps, to accompany the petition. ;)

Be sure to annotate them on the back where they were taken, date, who is in the picture, relationship, etc...

In your case, on the sheet of paper

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Too few pictures may be a red flag so I suggest more than 4, but there is a point where you can overwhelm them also, so there has to be a happy medium somewhere in between. Also, you don't have to give all of what you bring, but at least you have it handy. It's always good to do more than what is expected.

For example, my fiance had a certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR) to show that she isn't married somewhere, but she got it way back in April 08. The embassy instructions never said it had to be more recent, but in talking to other people, we found out that they want it to be less than 6 months old, so she just jumped through the necessary hoops and got it, and yes it was needed. We should have gone the extra length and got it even if no one had mentioned it, we were just lucky someone did point that out. Usually VJ comes to the rescue, but in this case, the realization happened at her CFO interview.

many petitions have been approved with only one or 2 pics included, and some with none! As Kim mentioned above, pics are not primary evidence of having met in person. Depending on the consulate that your petition ends up at, more pics may be beneficial to you when it comes to the interview for the K1 visa. Some consulates, like london, rarely look at photos during the interview. Study up on your consulate so you are prepared. But for the petition, a few pics will be fine.

I think they are talking about the initial petition of the I-129F form .... We only stuck in 5 pics but we also had letters from my mum and some friends we spent time with over the course of Shays visit and they included a couple pics each with there letters ... they were just printed out on A4 paper

For my interview however I am taking several pics of just Shay and I alone and several of him with my family and friends (same people that sent in letters) ... I rather have to much then not enough ... Also taking in cards that were addressed to both of us, only required to bring correspondence between the two of us but I cant see how it could hurt to bring in things addressed to both...

Today is the Tomorrow, you worried about Yesterday .....

This is not a true statement - there are no hard/fast rules or evidence to support it. Plenty of people get approved with little/no photographs.

Up to the consulate. The attorneys I used now suggest 50 pictures for proof due to the higher rate of denials (with family, the two of you together). They'll look for things like change of clothes, longer hair, etc to show you've seen each other more than once (if it comes down to secondary evidence)

Sorry to butt in but... I sent 15 photos (real ones ordered from kodakgallery.com). Is that crossing the line at too many? I sent flight itineraries and passport stamps as well.

Also, I have lots more photos for the interview as well.

I suplied 50 pictures. If it's in a tidy envelope labeled, they can look at as many as they wish. For my embassy, they're recommending 50 now. They actually told me to bring ALL my pictures but I only included select one's (double poses and things....why bother?). When I go back, I'll have plenty more. I don't want there to be any doubts. I want a slam dunk approval.

I think the more the better. They can't say I submitted too much. They also said ALL emails (but my lawyer took out our disagreements early in the relationship so they can't say our relationship is rocky or anything...not that it is but early on there were cultural misunderstandings that are long gone now)

If it were me and my life on the line, I'd submit ALL PHOTOS, ALL PHONE LOGS, ALL EMAILS, ALL PCITURES WITH BOTH OF US OR ME AND FAMILY IN THEM (sorry to shout...i'm too lazy right now to un-cap :P
