Jummah Mubarak and Happy Rabi’-al-Awwal!

We had half a foot of snow last night, which meant I needed to move my car so the apartment people could plow the parking lot. Alas, I didn't have my boots, so I waded through snow drifts up to my knees to get my car scraped off. My legs are still numb.

Ah well, at least I have an excuse now to go shopping

So we watched Body of Lies last night. Decent movie. However, as usual, the mister has to comment that all of the Arab words used are Egyptian dialect. Of course. I commented that other mid easterners use the same words (it's ARABIC). I swear my husband reminds me of the dad in My Big Fat Greek Wedding....

Good Morning and happy TGIF!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Good morning MENA Peeps! I am excitedly counting the days down until hubby comes home. We are down to 18 days!!! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I can't wait to see him again and kiss his face off!

My baby boy turns a big 1 year old tomorrow. We are waiting until his baba comes home for his party adn then we will celebrate with the family. I can't believe that one year has flown by already. He is talking so much. His favorite thing to say now is everybody's names. You tell him this morning we are going to your aunt's house and he names the kids and her husband.

Wow, all that at one? I think you have a genius on your hands.
