Oops, I mailed my DS230 too early?

Ok I rushed into sending my DS230 with all my original documents on the 23rd Feb from Australia. I thought I could because I had the cover sheet from the payment of the IV bill and AOS bill. The online instructions give links to the forms and documents needed so I just went ahead and did it.

I just called the NVC and it tells me that they have generated the packet on 10th Feb and it will be sent within the next few weeks, I don;t know why I didn't think to call before I sent my documents :( . So I have been way too early :(

Have I just made a huge mistake and going to have to get all new original documents?

I don't blame you and frankly don't think it should be a problem.

If you had sent in you aos bill and aos docs and all that was sorted and you have paid your IV and have the receipt??? why would it be a problem???

I think it is fine but don't know that much about this... anyone else????

Thanks for the quick replies. It will be a year this March since our NOA1, I just don't want to delay this anymore, such a long and timely process :(

if you had paid your IV bill and had the coversheet printout after the bill showed payed then dont worry about it. Once the bill is showing paid it is ok to send the package even if the AVR hasn't stated the package is generated. The AVR doesn't update always right away. The important thing is the bill showed payed and you were able to print the cover sheet.

You should be fine, as long as your IV bill payment has been accepted you can send the IV Package, and not wait for the stuff they send you in the mail. I never received the IV bill in the mail, I did pay it online, and then just sent in my IV package once it showed as paid.
