Hi

please use this topic to enter all your February 2009 approvals for I-130. I got my I-130 approved on Feb 12 and NVC received the case on Feb 19. No DS-3023 or bill generated yet. I saw that from January approvals that DS-3023 and bill was generated within a week in most cases. I just would like to hear from Feb approvals how its going on with youguys, id you get your DS-3023 and bill generated. Please update.

If you already have your NVC case number, don't wait for the mailed DS-3032 to arrive just use the template here on VJ to send it via e-mail. they will accept it that way and it will speed up your whole NVC process. The AOS is not a big deal because there are 2 seperate paths in NVC, one for the petitioner (AOS) and one for the beneficiary(all the DS forms). If you wait on the snail mail you will be a long time in NVC process. We used the shortcuts and completed the NVC in 16 days from sending DS-3032 to case complete. The short cuts really work.

Hi

NVC recieved the case and created the case # on Feb 19th and till now they did not generate the bill or Agent DS3023. I saw lot of people getting the bill generated in 3 days, the operators are saying that everything is clear and asking me to wait 4 to 6 weeks for getting the bill generated, any suggestions from you guys to get it move. I don't understand why they are not generating the bill and DS3023. Please share your suggestions and experiences.

Every communication I have also says wait 4 - 6 weeks. I have a third party agent so I'm not sure if I will get a courtesy communication but I have read the guides and shortcuts a million times I just don't get how to get around the fact that if you do anything before they ask for it you will cause delays, but then there are shortcuts and people getting through NVC in a few weeks. So is the answer to call and harass operators all day until someone says oh here's your IIN and have a nice day, I mean no operator has given me different information than wait 4 - 6 weeks, and the Auto system hasn't changed, what am I missing? :clock:

It seems like NVC is overwhelmed with all the quick approvals and stuff. I am struggling with getting responses from NVC as well. I was approved on March 2nd and NVC has yet to assign a case #. I've seen people getting case # assigned within a week. But when I talk to operator, I also get standard 4 ot 6 weeks or upto 90 days answer. I am giving them a benefit of doubt by thinking that I am becoming unnecessarily impatient. :)

The lady said "we haven't received your file yet". So I further asked, "Does this mean USCIS has not sent the file or you have received it but not processing right now?". She said, "It could be in transit or USCIS has not sent file yet, you need to allow 4 to 6 weeks..blah blah blah...".

I call 1-603-334-0700 (press 1 and then 5).
