We live in North Carolina, near Asheville. A place in NC where there are mountains surrounding it with a few Lakes. Many beautiful trees, very colorful during autumn season. Mt. Mitchel is nearby the tallest mountain in Eastern United States. Scenic Blue ridge parkway here. Asheville the home of Thomas Wolfe a famous auther who wrote Look Homeward Angel. One of the Lakes here called Lake Lure where the film Dirty Dancing was shot. One of the attractions here is Biltmore Estate built by George Vanderbilt.

I am from the west Texas town of El Paso, where long ago I heard the story of a Texas cowboy and a Mexican girl named Felina and a little place called Rosa’s Cantina. The singer sang about a jealous cowboy and the way he used a gun to kill another cowboy who flirted with Felina at Rosa’s Cantina. Then the cowboy left and rode away but his love for Felina was so strong that he rode back just to die in that El Paso sand.

El Paso City, by the Rio Grande. Could it be that I’m the cowboy in that mystery who died in the desert sand so long ago? Maybe not, because my love, Pilar, is somewhere there in Davao and soon to be joining me here in El Paso.

This is where I am, El Paso, Texas, the town that produced Gen. Omar Bradley, Gen. George Patton, Justice Sandra Day O'Connor, Actors Anthony Quinn and Debbie Reynolds and Golfer Lee Trevino, among others.

I have been to your neck of the woods, as I have relatives in Black Mountain, N.C., close to where you are. That Biltmore Estate is some lovely place, ain't it?

Hello, I'm Louie and I'm mariquita linda's fiance. Glad to introduce myself. I am of Ilocano ancestry and was born and raised in Barangay Narvacan, Guimba, Nueva Ecija. I live here now in Cave Creek, Ariz., where I have been the last 8 years. Cave Creek is primarily a bedroom community outside Phoenix.

Some of the most spectacular sights of the desert await you just a short drive north of Phoenix and Scottsdale. When you feel like leaving the tall buildings and hustle and bustle behind, the place to go for some relaxing fun is here in Cave Creek. Vast stretches of the wide-open Sonoran Desert, pristine mountain vistas, giant boulder formations, spectacular golf courses, a sparkling lake and towering saguaro cacti are all part of the magical landscape waiting for you here in one of Arizona’s last frontiers.

Expect the unexpected in this extraordinary desert paradise. From shopping to dining and the arts, discover all that this town has to offer. Stroll around and visit our unique shops and galleries, enjoy a great meal, try a sarsaparilla at a real Western saloon or just kick back and watch the sun set. At night, the stars shine so big and bright they seem close enough to touch. Listen, and you may be lucky enough to hear a coyote serenade the moon.

Below is a saguaro forest outside Cave Creek. The blossom of the saguaro is the state flower of Arizona.
