I'm not sure how they profile cases, and I am sure they do, but I've seen cases from UK get stuck and cases from high fraud countries breeze through. Also, being Brazilian I know there are TONS of illegal Brazilians in US right now and still my process had a very reasonable time line from the beginning. My husband does like to joke that since he's Puertorican and we do actually live in PR they don't give a ####### about who comes to live here. :lol:

I think when it comes to gender they discriminate too.

It is very sad that WE AMERICANS are treated very very well when we travel around the world but yet our government mistreat citizens of other countries. Thanks to the biggest LOSER OF THEM ALL " Mr. Bush" :angry:

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well,they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit,nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !


June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again,still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE

If there is a question of profiling going on it is not because of any bias. It is due to the fact that USCIS along with processing visa petitions is also to safeguard US homeland from any possible threats. This is unfortunate but it is the result of the world we live in. Very few terror threats come from other areas of the world and the similarity of names in the data base will cause "red flags" to be generated due to that similarity. It is not intentional just happens. which in turn gives longer processing times to people in certain areas of the world.

I think USCIS profile the USC and the US Embassy profile the beneficiary.

You're absolutely 100% right. They don't give a f..ck if you are USC! :dance:

Your are guilty until proven innocent. How dare you marry a foreign national. :dance:

sheesh..you are a trip..i assume high fraud or potentially areas of terrorists operations ..should be waved in ..cause you are an american citizen....get a grip
