I'm sorry if this question is going to seem silly, but I'm still new and trying to undersand my way around this whole process. I've seen on your timelines the term "TOUCHED" being used from time to time. I was wondering what it refers to.

Thank you!

If you sign up with USCIS using your case number, and create an acount on their website, you may see status changes online. Touched means your case was wanded, someone has been looking at it in other words. The last date shown will update. If you are watching it means a lot to see a 'touch'

In our case, even though we did create an account, the status never changed. It continued to show pending, and it showed that even last week. I am flying out in 4 days, so we know that isn't accurate

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.
