So I completed the DS-160 on-line, and I managed to print out the application, but when I went to print the confirmation receipt, it said session timed out and I lost it after that.

I had not saved it or emailed it to myself.

Now what? I was worried to redo as it will generate a new conf#.... but can I send off my packet 3 with ds230 and checklist without the confirmation receipt of the DS160? I will include the DS160 copy of app, but not receipt. Is this ok?

It should email it to you as well. I printed mine off and then I noticed in my email that a complete copy was there as well. Did you check that box when it asked you?

No, because I had never entered my email address :crying:

I know, It was so dumb of me! I did my son's correctly and got the email response, but mine was the first one I did, and I messed it up...

I just wonder if the confirmation receipt is important right now, or I can sort it out by he time my interview comes....

I just don't want to lose any time, and would love to get into que for an interview date....

I'm so frustrated with myself..

I emailed the Montreal Consulate office, but not sure how long it will take to hear back from them

Any advice is appreciated!

You are almost there and now you have to deal with the embassy. This is the place to post your experiences or questions related to this last step before moving to the US. Topics relating to I-134's, packets sent from consulate and medical & police certificates should be posted here.

YMMV
