The guy with a camera just yaks about police brutality but the cops or campus security just look bored. He can't decide anything without "concensus" and refuses to show any id to show he's a student. He doesn't even like "corporate water".

Couldn't figure out out what their cause was and most of the protestors didn't look too active either. I got the impression they were looking for a fight so they could put it on Youtube. They were being filmed, too. Good move.

The students who took over part of a New York University building last week are learning a crucial lesson that somehow escaped their educated minds. Namely, that actions have consequences.

After showing extraordinary patience, warning that going to the barricades was not a lark and suffering property damage and injury, NYU swept the bunch out and issued suspensions. So, shocked, the protesters are whining about being targeted by the school for revenge.

Actually, they were young and stupid - and now, hopefully, they will be less of both.

The kid holding the cam and talking the whole time was annoying. It was also annoying how the guy in red shirt with cap and glasses was trying to reason with him, couldnt he see the bigger picture here and just ignored him and not give the little puke what he wanted, attention. I graduated from NYU and worked there. The students wanted the that the university give 13 scholarships to students from Gaza and donate surplus supplies to the Islamic University of Gaza, student representation on the school's board of trustees and disclosure of budgets and endowment investments.

NYU does not have disclosure of any of its budgets.

BTW the cost of one year of undergrad at NYU runs 48K a year now. I would want to know where my money was going...
